      tell me one legit review site that says they are "average". All sites say they are really crisp and clear for the size.

        i think we have different standards thats all.

        those reviews are based on the price range of the speakers, not in the big picture.

        So yeah these are ok speakers, at awesome price.

          When these speakers came out they had a RRP of $100 USD and when reviewed they were matched against other speakers of similar price ranges. Techgage only gave it a mediocre review (lackluster bass) and scored 7/10

          Now that it's only at $39 and almost as cheap as a pair of Ls21's, who can resist?

        I don't really need reviews since I have these already for an older computer. Its easy to compare to other sets I have already. As they say, its all relative to peoples standards. No doubt its a good unit for the price!

      yes, as long as they have a headphone jack they will work. Apparently you just connect it via a headphone jack and it will output to speakers.

      he he, i found it quite amusing with reviews that proudly listed their hardware spec with individual components - video card, HD, mobo, etc - that got little to do with the product they reviewed. I would expect a list of test songs/CDs when one review speakers system.

      Anyway, sorry to be a bit off-topic, this is a quite good price for a decent set of speakers.

    Good price on the MX revolution. I have one of these and it's a very comfortable mouse to use.
    Unfortunately, both the rubbery surface rubbed off and the free-scroll wheel broke within 6 months - and I lost my receipt so Logitech didn't wouldn't deal with me.

        Only thing i could make out is, x240 got more power then LS21. I ordered x240 as soon as I saw this comparison :-)

        What is about the freq response/signal to noise ratio?.

        LS21 is abt 35$ (and below) these days.

          X-240 on seems to be on the US logitech site, not the AU one ??? might explain why most IT shops here don't stock it…

              Lets Just say DSe couldnt sell them so they returned them .

                @bargaincrypt: +1 bargaincrypt. DSE stores would get their products from the DSE distribution centre. Considering they are sold at other stores, and haven't been recalled, its very likely DSE has discontinued stocking the item.

      last time i bought, it took about 5 days…

      (might have been 4 if australia post told me it had been delivered… according to the e-parcel site, it's still in the truck - for over a week now !!!)
