Google Chromecast Offers:
Harvey Norman $39 Expired (20/6 now $49)
Officeworks $39
Domayne $39 as cited in this post
These things seem to be almost as popular as Eneloops

No, Google just made some updates to the existing chromecast.
I'm referring to hardware changes… that would mean either a V2 or a new product?
Are you referring to the beta APIs?
The Gigaom article refers to the second screen functionality in the beta API.
They would of released a CC2 instead of updating it then?
Would it be that strange for Google to release a beta API that was backwards compatible whilst working on hardware changes?
I didn't think it would be mutually exclusive?
Thanks OP!

Thanks, it was $39 last night then they changed it to $45, must of changed it back to $39 so people wouldn't price-beat
Awesome. Had an old $5 signup coupon that I hadn't used as well.
Domanye….by any chance related to Kanye?
Just wondering.. do you need to charge this or it charges through being plugged in like a USB?
I believe there's a separate cable that can be plugged into the T.V's USB port, or it also comes with a normal power adapter.
Yup, it comes with a little AC power adapter with a USB plug in it and a USB > Micro USB cable so you can either use an AC outlet or a USB port on your TV (assuming that it's a powered USB port which most are these days).
It doesn't "charge" as such. It always needs power from somewhere to work (and it can't get it from an HDMI port no matter what you hear about updated HDMI specs or whatever).
nice
got one
great
got two!
Maybe clearance considering Chromecast 2 rumours are abound?
