    • nice link..

      any English sites like this?
need some good panoramic pics to suit this canvas print

    • Images need to be pretty high resolution… 1920x1080 won't cut it. Hmm they do have some higher resolution images shall browse through…

Was really disappointed with my print with Big W Last time. Canvas came about a stop darker than the image I uploaded.

Pricematch and get it done at officeworks instead!

Will they actually do this? May as well try I suppose!

Same here, SnapFish canvas is much better quality!

    • I had that too. Happened twice, i am a slow learner. Was actually thinking the first time was an outlier but now will upload a brighter image

    • It is because they use sRGB instead of adobe RGB colour space. I had to return my print because of that.

      • Like basically every printer, every web browser, etc. Doing what every printer does means it's not their fault.

        • Why don't they account for this by adjusting the brightness up before they print?

@theworks: Because people should send through print-ready images. having BigW fiddle with them is not a good thing.

        • @Mic Cullen:

Hang on, the image printed doesn't reflect the 'print-ready' image. I'm talking about an automatic adjustment (say an f-stop up) to compensate for the unintended darkness.

It sounds like BigW not making any adjustments for the printed image to reflect the image on the screen is not a good thing.

    • yeah I had the same experience. Print was really dark.

  • There are loads of decent canvas places online. The locally priced canvases are a rip off when not on sale and probably outsourced anyway.

    • Links? I've used ArtsCow they have been good.

  • The last time this deal was posted I downloaded a high-res version of the Middle Earth map. Every time I see it I geek out a little, it really looks amazing.

  • I just got my canvases. They have bit of a green tinge to the photos, and look a little washed out. Not particularly happy with them, any suggestions on whether they would reprint them or not?

The one I had printed turned out perfect with no blemishes and the colour looks spot on. Wish I had a few more printed now, will get some more done next time they run this promotion.
