    Customer may terminate the hosting account with 14 days notice. - this is piss poor customer service, why isnt it instant? will you charge for 14days at your premium $44pm rate?

    Please, if anyone does sign-up for this 3 months free trial make sure you cancel at least 14 days before the end of the term otherwise you will get slugged the first month's fee. And what a whopper of a fee. Of course your best bet is to AVOID this web host in the first instance.

    Hi Tuzii. The reason why there is 14 weeks is that it takes a few weeks to migrate and we want to make sure people have 12 weeks of free hosting. Also, you only need to give 14 days notice, so you have 12 weeks to decide what to do before giving notice.

      Even though 3 free months is indeed a great bargain and I thank you for that, $44 for a months business web hosting is quite high. I pay less than half that for my business.

    Not too sure why you're all complaining so much. You get 3 free months… that's a quarter of a year. And all you have to do is remember to cancel within 2 weeks of the first charge. Stop complaining, the 14 day notice doesn't affect you unless you decide to take the 3 free months… and if you do, I'd be apologising to the rep and thanking him/her. Nothing worse than being ungrateful over something free.

          And if you need a ticket in that time because something stops working, it's no longer free.

          If you just want hosting for free, I'm sure there are other options, although perhaps not with as much allowance.

          Consider the time and effort it takes to migrate between hosts also

      It's not really a better deal. VentraIP doesn't even sell plans with 100GB storage, that's astronomical. Their highest is 50GB for $35 per month, which actually makes this plan look pretty attractive.

      The problem here is the 100GB of disk space. There is absolutely no business in Australia that would need that much disk space but would take up an offer of 3 months free. If you've got that much data, you should probably just build your own data centre.

        Actually I know plenty of small companies that use that amount of space for hosting. Leaving mail on the server jsut keep on adding up compared to the old days of POP3 and downloading your mail.

          I stand by my point. If you have 100GB of IMAP mail to transfer to a new server, you're not going to sign up to a service purely for 3 months free.
