      Can it take eneloops?

  • Is this light better then the little ones from China?
Ie is it worth the extra money

    • I havent tried others but I have a P7 and a H7 (h7 is a headtorch). They are both great. Use them evry day for work in roof spaces. Light up brilliant.
The only thing I dont like about them is that as the battery dies, it illuminates less and less. Theyre built well though.

If you're working up in roof spaces, do you really want a torch that suddenly stops working with no notice when the batteries die?

Led lenser are over rated on specs. They are not standard testing rating like ANSI lumens.
The 220lm is just for thr first few seconds as the flashlight does not have a regulated circuit.
Also run time of 3 hours and a half is from when you switch on to when the battery dies. Which isn't useful. Flashlight like Fenix, sunwayman, olight etc are more expensive but they have specs that ate real and regulated output, not to mention the build is much stronger. You can run them over with a car and not worry. The Led lenser is very thin aluminium.
The only benefit of a led lenser is the focus of beam. Besides that it's not with the money as you can get much better lights for the same price.

If you want to spend $35 get an olight s10. It's smaller has 400lumen and has various modes of output being the lowest it can last 17 days on.but you'll need a 16350 cell and a charger that uou can get in ebay. Or just get the Olight s10R that comes with charger for a little extra money.
    Just a tip for anyone.

You don't know what is "bright" until you get a flashlight that isn't much bigger than that one and can output 5233 lumens ;)

      Which one would that be?

      • "Niwalker MM15"
But there is another handheld rocket the "Thrunite TN36" with over 6000 lumens.

They are a lot costlier but man its impressive how much light come out of it.
