      it's actually really worth it if you plan on doing anything in the next year at either crown. you can combo with entertainment vouchers and also get 5% of money spent back on your crown card. you can also use entertainment book hotel booking, but make sure you go to the counter to manually check out and don't do express, and you'll be able to pay with the vouchers, effectively giving you 20% on top of the entertainment book discount rate

      ie @ jimbo & rex, who have very well priced steaks etc ($30-35) in the first place, combo with 25% off entertainment voucher, 20% off the paid amount and 5% back on the card gives you those steaks for an effective price of only around $15-20, extremely competitively priced when compared to your local pub :D, and the food there is pretty good as well!

        I learned that the entire Crown Complex is instituting Credit Card Surcharges (not sure about the food courts but Kokos do) so this is actually even better value for money if you plan.

        By the way, how do you get 5% of money spent back?

          you need to have a crown membership club. they credit back points which are effectively worth 5% of the transaction. It works at all stores basically, so it's like getting 5% off maccas, kfc etc

    Wondering if I can buy 2 cards in 2 separate transactions, would I be able to use both as payment towards my accommodation booking?

      Yes. I'm assuming you mean to purchase 2 x $500 gift cards (at a personal cost of $800) and when checking out of your hotel, to use those gift cards to pay for your stay.
