And the 3DS imports are minimum. FFS - the New 3DS was released here months before the US.
Don't really know the posting rules but maybe add the region lock to the title?? I was so excited when I got the email I messaged a few friends, then I was looking up some opinions on the bundle itself and there were a lot of comments about disappointed Europeans D= (so I made a connection that we were left out too). Would have been nice if Humble mentioned it in the email to save me looking anything up. >_<

Got really excited and then saw the 5 or so banners proclaiming it wasn't for my region. How is 2005 going nintendo? Will you upgrade online infrastructure any time soon?
to be fair, it was only Sony that removed region locks in 2005, Xbox 360 still has them, to my knowledge
I'm so glad I checked it out on reddit first like I do with all interesting looking bundles. I run a VPN through the USA constantly and I don't get all the warnings.
Why would you be glad that you didn't see the warnings? Wouldn't you rather be warned that the product is useless to you rather than waste your money?

Yep Nintendo live in the stone age as far as worldwide distribution and online distribution are concerned. They can't see outside of Japan still.

Hrm prior to Netflix in aus I created a new user and in the process set "his" local to UK I was then able to go to the UK store and download some free apps eg Netflix they installed OK - but when run by either user it launched and knew I was in OZ .. But that was an app detection .. Makes me think the same trick could work here ?
