We pride ourselves on creating one of the most eco-friendly lighting products in the world;

  • Getting "Authentication Error" on payment screen.

Might be just me but all details are correct..

UPDATE - Paypal worked okay, same card, same details :s

  • Hi all,

We are terribly sorry, there was an error in our system where our daffodil lamp was mis-priced at $9. We unfortunately can not sell these lamps at that price so we've refunded everyone who has bought a lamp at that price and fixed the error. (The standard price of the daffodil lamp is $99.)

Once again, we are sorry for the inconvenience, but we can see that there is a lot of love for our products so we're going to work with our designers and suppliers over the next few weeks to see if we can create a special deal for OzBargainers at the ultra low prices!!

    Cheers,
    Chung

"Thank you for your purchase of the daffodil lamp this morning.
We unfortunately had an error on our website"

Got a refund email. It's such a shame, not a good impression on me so far. Wasted my time this morning.

Shame all the bases look the same…

    • We actually have a range of bases, but at the moment we're focusing on just promoting our hex and crumpled bases through our online store.

  • $60 still seems a bit rich for these. Really pretty though.

I would be great to see a photo of these illuminated in low light so you could get an idea of what they will look like in use.

    • Thanks for your feedback. We'll aim to provide more photos in the coming weeks.

  • this might seem like a dumb question but these just plug into mains power right ?
also have go any videos of the lamps ?

    • Yes, that's correct. It's 240V.

Look great but your website really lacks info:
    - a photo illuminated in low light (as suggested by phoenixx) would be helpful.
    - how are these turned on (touch or switch)? I am guessing switch based on the materials but what does it look like? Where is the switch located (on the base, on the cord)?
    - how long is the power cord?
    - how much do they weigh?
    - More photos!

    • Thanks for your feedback. We'll take it onboard and work on improving our site and providing more photos.

Just to quickly answer your questions:
The switch is on the power cord. It's just a simple on/off switch.
The power cord is 2 meters long
On average they weigh between 300g to 500g

      • Thanks for answering my questions. Here are some more that I forgot to ask:
        - what globe fitting do they take (E14/E27/B22)?
        - have they passed Australian electrical certification?

        • Hi Chief,

Our lamps take an E27 globe, and we already include a Mirabella 5.5W LED globe with every lamp. This globe puts out the same brightness as a traditional 40W globe (which is 470 lumens).

Furthermore, our electrical fittings certainly do have Australian Electrical certification.

          Cheers,
          Wombat Home Team

        • @WombatHome: Great to hear! Thanks.

    • Hi Tanabe88g,

Avargadi is an offshoot project from Wombat Home (www.wombathome.com.au). At Wombat Home, we've found that there are incredible homeware designs on Thingiverse, but not everyone can afford a 3D printer just to produce some of these great designs. So, Wombat Home's mission was to make these homeware designs available at affordable prices.

Avargadi is an extension of that mission, however, with this collection we've worked directly with designers to produce this unique range. We were looking to create bold and striking designs and so we took inspiration from a large range of sources, from botanical gardens (hence the flower collection), to Ikea, Philippe Starck and Thingiverse. In this case, the Azalea design was inspired by the Koch Snowflake vase which is also available from Wombat Home.

      Cheers,
      Wombat Home Team
