Has anyone got any experience with these?

    • I bought one, ended up in cupboard then gave to my sister…. decent quality I think its just im not a fan of the blacks… love some more clicky feed back.

But cant complain for the price, definitely better than a normal keyboard.

Key caps were smaller than I like them if I remember correctly, also I am a huge fan of backlit keyboard and cant go back anymore.

Take this with a grain of salt because I spent ~$150 on a G710+ and didnt like that either!

Believe it or not, I am in love with my Kogan $60 one. perfect size keys, perfect feedback, good backlighting.

      • I'm a fan of Reds and Blacks, but don't see why I should upgrade from my current keyboard ("mech feeling membrane switches")

Friend of mine has a Steelseries 6GV2, he loves it. It's built like a tank, he threw it on the floor and slammed it a couple times in a fit of rage when he crashed his plane in FSX, still works.

    • Blacks are for gaming, and some people may find it fatiguing to type on. For serious typists I'd roll with switches that provide a tactile feedback.

You may like to add + shipping Droidyy ($10)

      Adding now.

i actually have this keyboard and I actually love it. I think mine has the blue switches, has a nice feel and good layout.

Like the fact that it has no extra keys (macros or such) as it alters the layout and portions of everything. Had the G710+ and hated it and went back to this, if it also had back lit keys would be perfect.

      Thanks for your input!

I don't use macros either, I have 2 binded to my mouse buttons for actions in games (opening menus fast, etc) but usually I just bind my numpad.

Also hate keyboards that commit mortal sins by doing things like shortening the backspace key and moving shit around.

      • Great price, its a shame the board has an overseas layout. Cant be stuffed re-adjusting my mind to niche layouts

  • Any idea at all when the deal ends?

Also whats the original price? Surely it wasn't $99.
Their "don't pay" prices are usually made up.

Online Only. Ends 22/05/2015 or While Stock Lasts

      • Thanks! OP could you update the post?

    • I think mwave originally sold these for $99 then it dropped $80 then slowly dropped down since then. The keyboard is a rebranded i-rocks KR6251

    Wiki entry:

Seems like a good buy. I am quite happy with the Kogan TKL MX Brown which I got for $50-60 a while back.

  • Hopefully this works better than their crappy USB hubs which are just dead out of the box.

It's gone back up to $69.90. Too late! :(

  • As said, it's gone back to normal price.

I would have got it if it wasn't an ISO layout keyboard, and didn't have that terribly ugly (imo) USB port on the face of keyboard. I haven't played much on a Black switch keyboard, so that would have been cool. A quick and easy paint job of some sort would get rid of that logo as well :)

  • OMG MWAVE branded

  • Damn
I would have bought one of these.
    Missed out

  • MWAVE don't actually make these keyboards. This is a rebranded i-rocks KR6251 keyboard.
