This is the cheapest I have seen wemo lights (individual or starterkit) and switch + motion sensor. Can't find any cheaper deals on OzB previously. Nothing on StaticIce comes close.

I bought it for $107 last week :/
I bought for a little more, $12x ? Also the switch+motion for $8x. Then bought last week another for $74 lol.
Ugh, do I want more bulbs ….
thanks for pointing this out didn't realise each item dick smith sells needs to be listed separately!
Now I don't even need to look through their site all the products here!Looks like the light starter kit is gone now?
DSE eBay categories are a bit off:
Listed in category: Industrial>Medicine, Science>Scales
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Belkin-WeMo-Switch-and-Motion-Sen…
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Belkin-WeMo-Lightbulb-Screw-/2618…I'm still yet to find a use for the sensor I already have, but I could do with a couple more switches. If only they listed the separate switch product.
I put one in my garage to detect when I come home. I bought a second senor, thinking of a use for it.
I've got lights in all main rooms in my house except the kitchen (MR16 globes, can't installed Wemo Light Switch). In the winter I use the Wemo Switch with my electric blanket, but I could do with another for a lamp and for my IP camera (I only use it for live streaming and prefer it to be off by default. Wemo would allow me to turn it on remotely).
Well my garage sensor turns on hallway/entry lights for 5-10 mins, and kitchen lights which stay on. It's very handy.
If anyone is just after a motion sensor globe - I bought one of these recently: O-Lin 6W A60 LED Globe w/Motion Sensor for $15.
It works really well as a front porch light.
I recently bought the wireless LEDs from limitlessled.com … wow … great quality and reasonable cheap (under 20$/bulb). App works on the notification screen of the iPhone or as standalone app … also remote control possible. You could add led strip lights, GU10, E27, B22, E14 (in RGBW, RGBC, WW/CW) to the system. I would say a far better deal (normal price) than the Wemo, Philips or LIFX bulbs. I highly recommend them …
The only downside would be the lack of integration with IFTTT and not sure about HomeKit in the future …
Mi Light hub is pretty basic.
So you need another device (like RaspberryPi) to run something to talk to IFTTT from one side and Mi Light Hub from another side.Have a look here
https://ifttt.com/recipes/193847-turn-off-lights-iwy-light-m…And here
https://ninjablocks.com/
(WARNING: the company is bankrupt, do not expect their hardware. But they opensource the software).
https://discuss.ninjablocks.com/t/ninja-blocks-whats-been-ha…Thanks for the links … looks like you can even get IFTTT running …but it's not that straight forward as Philips, Hue or LIFX.
Ideally the release a new Mi Light Hub which integrates all that (and HomeKit) and it would make it the perfect package. Might look into the raspberry pi thingy in the meantime.
(A pity that ninjablocks went bankrupt … their Sphere concept was great … but it would have needed a long time to become a financial success - "Mainstream" home-automation is still a bit away.
You are welcome.
Philips Hue and LIFX are much "smarter". And price reflects this. :)
HomeKit rollout is really slow at this moment - one of the first HomeKit certified chip was released few months ago.
I don't believe Futlight www.futlight.com (Mi Light manufacturer) gonna be doing releasng HomeKit compatible hardware - Apple certification is time and money consuming process. And it would bump price up (HomeKit chip is not free). But who knows. :)
Most likely Phillips would be releasing updated HomeKit compatible hub. All light are fine - they are talking to the hub.
Not sure about LIFX though - they don't have dedicated hub - this topology doesn't fit current HomeKit model.
Grabbed the Wemo motion + switch pack thanks.
Will be using these with IFTTT and some Philips Hue Lux (white only) bulbs ordered from Amazon.
Are Hues from Amazon 240V compatible?
I'm satisfied they are based on research. The A19 fitting is equivalent to E27. No local warranty though.
Please let us know.
@SickDmith: No go. The Lux bulbs work for awhile and then start strobing as they fail and lose connection permanently.
Supposedly the coloured bulbs from US work on 240v but I can confirm the white Lux bulbs die in hours.
Could get a cheap stepdown transformer for $7 but kind of defeats the purpose.
Wonder when the Lux will be sold locally?
@myfeetarehappy:
That's bad.
Thanks for the update.
Dick's done it again. I order 2 globes yesterday and got an SMS, 2 emails and an eBay notification telling me they were ready to collect this morning. I rushed out of work during a break to go get them, and of course the store has no idea about the order. On closer inspection, the 2 emails sent this morning said orders that I'd placed months ago were ready to pick up (despite them having already been collected at the time).
Useless Dicks.
I spent 25 mins waiting in store for them to attempt to sort their crap out last night - ended up being told I need to go to another store tomorrow and pick them up!
Ahhh … I just bought the Wemo bulbs starter kit earlier on the week for $114!
