Jabra Move Bluetooth Headset = $71.50 with Coupon + Shipping (RRP $149) @ Shopping Express

NEW10OFF

Just price matched one of these at GG and am pretty happy with it. It's a nice compact headset light without being flimsey.

What I really like is it's a nice low profile so I can wear it in public without feeling like Mickey Mouse. Fits under a hoodie un-noticed and I should hopefully be able to listen to some decent music at the gym now and maybe catch more calls when on the move.

Sound seems good, hard for me to tell these days as I use ATH-M50x for most stuff , It's not giving me a huge volume but just enough.

  • How would these compare to something like the MEElectronics AF62? I was just looking today through some of the previous deals so I know that a lot of Ozbargainers have them now. I don't usually wear hoodies so not sure how these ones would fit my head.

They do look fairly comparable functionally.
I think the Jabras may be a little more low profile and more solid, there are no bendy bits and seems all padded metal which I like as I have snapped too many headphones where just weak plastic, especially when travelling or at the gym. Actually I think that is the part I like, no swivelly bendy bits. When you have your headphones paired but not on, too many times i've missed a call because a clip or earpiece has to be aligned b4 you can put on.
I don't think the Jabras are multi-point connective which is a shame but I could be wrong. Apart from that I have no idea.

    • I'd previously tried a pair of the Matrix2s, and ended up buying these instead. They're pretty similar in terms of SQ, but the Jabras are smaller and not quite as loud.

Personally, I preferred the Jabras purely because of size — the Matrix 'phones made my head look like a bean. :[

The only real downside to Jabras, as far as I am concerned, is latency. You're not going to want to watch a movie with them on, but given that I mostly use them for the morning commute it's no biggie.

  • Do the pads feel hot on the head? I would use them primarily for running and i'm not entirely sold on the faux leather and how it would go with sweat

It's 4 degrees atm, right now I would pay double for the pads to be heated :-).
Apart from that not much goes well with sweat, these have fairly small pads which is probably the best solution for that prob. As far as running though, first thing I though when I put them on was I could run with these, I actually can't shake them off, but maybe that's just a fluke for my fit.

Bummer it dropped to 3.5 degrees while I was typing.

  • These have pretty solid reviews here.
