Is there a way for an existing $30 plan from last month with 500MB to switch to this one?
As this is Sim Only plan and your obligations are month to month cancel it by calling them and ask to renew it with new plan if it doesnt work cancel it move to prepaid and then get back to this plan.
I was able to chat with them online and organise the change straight away. Quick and easy. The plan "upgrade" will come into effect within 24 hours.
I just got off from 'typing' to optus.
They will change me to the new plan on the next renewal.
So, same deal, same cost .. bumped from 500MB to 1GB (Did not have to cancel)
I though the $30 plan came with 1.5GB last month?
That was the month before that, optus changes the sim plans nearly every month lol, last month optus changed it to 0.5GB + unlimited calls, and now its 1GB + unlimited calls. Next month it will probably be back to 1.5GB, keep checking the optus website every month and u will be all good ;)
Awesome, thanks for posting this! My contract had just finished. Have gone for the $45 plan which gives me twice as much data that I previously had and is $15 cheaper :)
The same rather paltry globs of data from optus. whereas I can take Netflix down to the beach on Vodafone WKND;
_- estimated $100 PW worth in optus' money's, for an unequalled int. mins+ $1pGB ratio usage [$32]capped by recharge. neat.
Even Telstra wholesale\boost mobile do the data Sunday thing.
