    what's the saving ???

Dunno there is a saving. But Aldi stuff is a bit funny. Eg their compression gear for $18 which are pretty good quality. They are retailing for 18 with no actual savings against rrp but they are so good for the price and such limited runs that they are a bargain compared to all the other alternatives in the market. I guess with this watch it sounds quite cheap too considering it has both gps and hrm. Fitbits dont even have either of these features at this price.

Dunno there is a saving bargain.

        seems more appropriate then…

but they are so good for the price

I've returned more stuff than I've kept from Aldi… Quality is often really crap. No point in buying something cheap if it doesn't work.

Is the site called "OzSaving" or "OzBargain"?

I know what you are referring to, but something can be a genuine bargain without being "on special" for a lower price than normal.

Why is this a bargain though?

There's no mention of any savings or even any comparisons to items of similar quality…

jv, maybe everyone can submit all new deals directly to you and you can decide if there is a saving/bargain to be had?? a bargain is not always the item with the biggest discount, i mean take jewelery, the sales always seem to be something like '50/90% off' etc but does that mean it's a bargain? not always

I do understand where jv is coming from though: can anyone who bought one comment on the quality? Just because it has all these features, doesn't mean it is any good…

The interval workout training sounds useful (for me at least).

$10 cheaper than a similar watch last year - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/152826
Searched for "Heart rate watch" (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/search/node/heart+rate+watch) before posting and found $89 to be a decent price compared to the deals on ozbargain.

  • Does it export data for analysis on a computer or import into online services?

  • Can't find company website….any idea abt battery life?
