50% Selected headsets and car speakers

    http://search.dicksmith.com.au/search#w=jabra

    • Thanks, that's interesting, the ad doesn't say selected jabra

      • Looks like it's off all Jabra headsets and car hands free speakers, except stereo headsets. It might be different in store.

  • Awesome deal Televisi…Thanks
    Bought 'Jabra Stealth'
These headesets(storm, stealth) go for $70+USD(converts to $90AUD on amazon and other places…
certainly good saving for someone wanting bluetooth headset

  • This is a good deal. Jabra Stealth is a bargain at $52.50

It even has a "find my Jabra" mode when you lose it :D

    http://www.pocketinsider.com/2014/11/28/review-jabra-stealth…

In the Play store -> Volume Button for Lollipop can get around the fact the Stealth doesn't have volume controls.

  • Saw a similar offer at DS Merrylands - 50% off Jabra headsets, 50% off all DS batteries, 50% off all powerbanks for the weekend only. Also 20% off some brand TVs (think it was Chang Hong brand). It was in the computer system though not on the individual racks. Signs are posted at store entrance. Powerbanks were a good deal.

  • How about jabra rox?

  • anyone know if the Jabra Play Bluetooth Audio Dongle is available @ Dick Smith stores? I can't find it online :(

  • Is Jabra Sport Pulse also 50% off?

The Jabra Freeway is pretty decent for $84.50. Have 1 in each car. Works well, nice and clear and you can invoke Siri on iPhone by pressing and holding the call button on the unit. You can then read out sms to be sent, ask for directions that then kicks into the 'maps' app that will read you the directions, etc. It's pretty useful. :)

    • I was going to buy a cheaper unit, but at half price with free pickup I bought a freeway.

      • +4

Will you be adding toll to your newly bought freeway :)

        • +2

I'm depending on federal funding :)

      • You won't regret the Freeway. Really decent product.

Have the Jabra Freeway as well. Best Bluetooth handsfree I had so far. Battery is very good as well. Lasts for over month with occasional use (I use it for navigation, too). The only thing that annoys me that it reminds you every 5 minutes or so when the battery gets empty. But at least I don't forget it to take it with me to charge it. It's a very minor problem that wouldn't hold me back from buying it again.

      • bought one today. Great unit except voice command isnt really reliable. Did you guys do anything to improve the accuracy ?

        • Do you hold the call button long? It activates voice recognition of your smartphone. Worked brilliant with my iphone. Not so well with my current Android but that might be cause mine is rooted and voice recognition doesn't work very well generally.

        • @liquid metal:

Iphone via call button is fine
but the voice button using it to get the battery level for example ?

        • Never need that cause it tells you early enough when it needs to be recharged. Only need it for pairing and that's like once a year or so.

  • Thank you!

Purchased the Stealth and the Tour.

  • Does anyone know which is best out of the Jabra Motion, Jabra Storm and Jabra Stealth?

  • Also available online

  • I am wondering if I want to use
    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/computer-accessories/jabra-steal…
    JABRA Stealth Bluetooth Headset
    in the car,
do I need this one as well
    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/mobile-phone-accessories/jabra-d…
JABRA Drive Handsfree Car Kit ?
    Thanks.

    • +1

      No, both work independently.

However, don't buy the Jabra Drive. Buy the Freeway: http://www.dicksmith.com.au/mobile-phone-accessories/jabra-f…

You will use those products for a long time so rather spend a bit more and be very happy with them.

      • Thanks for your feedback.
        But I am still puzzled.
Will a JABRA Drive Handsfree Car Kit work in the car ?

    Thanks guys.

  • Anyone here bought Jabra Stealth and found intermittent sound distortion in call?

  • Anyone who reads this thread. The Jabra Freeway was rubbish. I ended up taking it back.

    1. Voice recognition doesn't work (at all)
    2. Static on the FM channel (no matter what channel you set it to)
    3. Distortion on bluetooth calls
    4. Lockups. Will hang and have to be restarted.
    5. Their 24/7 day support number never answers (your call is important to us blah blah)
    6. Most annoying. It doesn't shut down when you switch off your car. This means it spends the next two hours grabbing your calls from your phone at random when your inside your house.
