Artwear Direct is the unique new concept in WA that people are loving. Why design and upload your own image to an impersonal t shirt printing site when you can work directly with a real designer, right here in Australia, who takes your idea and brings it to life.

We can put just about anything on a t shirt. For the month of May however we are running this promotion so you can have you say. We will take your words and design and print them up to your specifications. We can make your design plain, stylish or fancy. You can be naughty or nice or rude and crude. Then we print your design on our digital garment printers and mail your new garments to anywhere in Australia.

Usually we charge $37.50 for design and print jobs. But for the month of May we've taken $10 off. And to make this an even more insane bargain if you order 10 or more of the same or different designs we will reduce the price by a further 10% to just $24.75 each and even throw in free shipping. Wow! This offer is insane and not likely to be repeated.

What you get:

    directly with a real designer

Hell everyone is suddenly a designer with MS fonts and MS paint…..

And $27.50 for a cotton t-shirt…this is more an ad than a deal imo.

    • -1

Agreed. Just because your usual price is ridiculous does not mean a slightly lower price is a deal. You're more than welcome to use ozbargain to advertise your company but it's provisional that you actually have some sort of time limited deal.

      • +1

"But for the month of May we've taken $10 off". Sounds time limited to me.

  • 56 691 774 923 not currently registered for GST. Low expectations?

    • +1

We are not far off having to register but in the mean time it means less time working for the government and more time creating great designs. Far from low expectations. We've invested about $100K into equipment alone. Simply we want to offer the best product for the best price.

  • What makes your deal any better than what Qwertee have to offer?
I'm not a big fan of the quality of their tees, are yours any better?

    • They must be emperor armani exchange clothing disguised with ms font!

  • +5

Such cynical people. Actually we don't know of anyone else in Australia doing what we do. If you know of anyone then do let us know. Remember this cost is CUSTOM DESIGNED and it doesn't mean whack an MS font onto a shirt. Some designs can get surprisingly complex, even in text. We work with the customer to get the look they want and often make suggestions and do multiple mockups. Check out other printing places and you will find YOU have to do the design yourself. If you can do that and get what you want cheap, then great, go and do it. But if you need someone to do it for you what's it going to cost you then? And yes we sell way better quality shirts than any of these places. We use two industrial DTG printers to print at high resolution, the very same that other big online companies use. However because they have high volumes they pump through they often don't take great care with the quality of print either. You can get a barely acceptable print using minimal ink for the low cost they charge. We always use more ink to make designs really stand out. Simply, we offer a better product.

However it's your money and you don't have to buy if you don't think we are offering a great deal. People in Perth who come to us know that we are and the majority of our customers say they won't go anywhere else because no one else offers the quality and service we do.

Alright. I'll be the first person in Australia to sell canned air for human consumption. Since I'm the first I will charge $99.99 per 330ml can. I've had to investing in canning equipment. This price includes custom designing of the label on your canned air. That's right. You can have your name on your canned air. Because I'm a small individual business, I take great pride in my canned air ensuring exceptional quality. For a limited time only, I will be selling them at $69.90 each.

Do u have v neck T shirt? I know the crowd here can be tough but long rant may not help :)

    • Wasn't meant to be a rant. Just informative. And yes we do have V neck t shirts in our Earth Positive organic cotton range however they are not part of this promotion.

  • +1

For comparison this place in Melbourne does offers a similar product/service at $40 per t-shirt: http://editiononline.com.au/ so I'd call this post a deal.

    • Thanks for that Dice. Always happy to hear about other businesses and what they are doing.

  • Earth Positive organic cotton range

    What makes the cotton organic?

    • +2

Cotton is one of the most environmentally destructive crops on the planet. It generally requires massive amounts of water and pesticide to produce. Earth Positive cotton is organically grown in India with no pesticides used and the water used for production is recycled. Factory power is produced using sustainable means such as wind. Earth Positive clothing is produced using completely sustainable and carbon neutral means and workers are paid fairly. The factory is clean and state of the art. Earth Positive clothing has a string of accreditations for environmentally sustainable and ethical production. Read more at http://continentalclothing.com/page/organic_standard

I should note that our Earth Positive range does not come under this promotion, however probably around 80% of what we sell is from the Earth Positive range.

  • I tried making my own shirt with my own images because plain text is not really my thing.

But it doesn't show me a preview for anything, no adjustments or even any info on what it will be like.

How much does the image cover?
    How is the image applied?
What does a finished product look like in real life?

I know it's not what this deal is promoting but your website leaves a LOT to be desired. Nobody wants to part with money (it's not just a couple of dollars) for an unknown result.

  • All constructive comments and we have taken them on board. We are already in the process of adding a designer with preview and that should be available in a couple of months. However we prefer to work directly with customers rather than just print their uploaded images. Digital mockups are always provided before printing so its never an unknown result.

    But to answer your questions:

    1. That depends on customer requirements but the maximum area is 350mm H x 400mm W. Most images on a medium or large t shirt we would generally print about 250mm wide. We scale them up or down for smaller or larger garments. Any larger and images tend to wrap around the body and don't look as good.

    2. Direct to garment printer using ink. The finish is like a high resolution screen print

    3. They look exactly as is shown in our gallery. Those images while still mockups are an accurate representation of the work we do.
