      Been using a similar one for the past 8 years. Its great except a bit creaky (probably needs some WD40).. I nap in it too since it is that comfortable..

      Shows out of stock nearly everywhere in Sydney. The Buro has 10 year warranty and if you wait you might be able to get it for a bit cheaper (it was $250 last sale).

      I have that exact seat and I think it's really good.

      Lots of easily adjustable bits, nothing is falling apart or ripping and it feels really heavy and sturdy.

      I often spend hours at a time sitting and I can't complain.

      But here is what i have encountered…

      I have one of this for over a year now! Kind of developed back problems since using this chair. I cant confirm its because of the chair(do use sit a lot).

      I have contacted them a year ago… didnt know how to adjust the back :p
      Received an email same day… explaining the mechanism (ratchet back adjustment)

      The gas lift just failed and the chair makes creaking noise. I am under 85kg.

      Trying to get it fixed through Buro, emailed the tech enquirers and no response yet(over a week now) but looks like i have to contact KAB seatings.

          Yes they asked me to contact Staples. I emailed staples and after conformation that i am capable of replacing it myself, they ordered the part which was shipped overnight.
          It was a pain to get the strut out of the base… but i managed it by dismantling the whole chair including the gas lift tubes … (i didnt have a mallet)

    It's not Australian made any more I think. The one I got from the last OfficeMax sale was made in Taiwan. There's still a 10 year warranty though. Don't know whether the staples stock is AU made or not.

      I think it's supposed to be low to support the lumbar spine properly. The high back chairs would probably only suit taller people.

    I have a buggered back ( ANkylosing Spondylitis ), and i have this chair as a replacement ofr the crappy one i used to have.

    The difference was amazing.

    Much better to sit in for long periods due to the seat foam, and the back mesh shape is pretty well thought out ( my previous one had an exaggerated lumbar support that dug into my back ) .

    Well worth the money.

    Mine were delivered a couple of days ago. Box says made in Taiwan but they are still great quality.

    I made the mistake of assembling the first one downstairs and it was a mission to get to the study upstairs.

    Very impressed. It is very comfortable over long durations even for me (6ft 130kg elephant). Would recommend.

    I bought this chair and have used it for a few days now. All I can say is that my lower back is completely screwed from sitting in this chair.

    The chair is really good quality. However I find that the back mesh is too loose and cause myself to sink into it too much. Im 85kg 6ft 4.

    Chair has absolutely zero lumbar support. When I try to optimise lumbar by having the back seat section all the way down. Your back then touches the hard surrounds of the mesh at the top.

    Everyone has different experiences… mine has been less than desirable.

    Ill keep trying it for a few more days.
