"Zinc Carbon technology" would mean they're not

just dry cells, very short battery life and with a shelf life of around 1.5 years, so don’t buy more, you pay what you get

  • not very exciting they have been on quite a few times no one wants em

  • its not a bad deal? has anyone tried them?
    i want to get some.

    • dont get them, they will ruin whatever you put them in. See the whirlpool thread for more info!

  • I have them and they are SHIT.

I thought they would be good being Philips but do not last long at all.

    waste of money :(

    • agreed

I used all 60 AA's that i ordered a few months ago in a matter of weeks. They last about 3-5 hours in an Xbox 360 controller!

  • Terrible batteries. You get what you pay for.

  • ok these batteries must be really bad.

  • In the other thread it was suggested to just go to Big W or Bunnings to get their 30c to 40c each Alkalines: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/19120#comment-123782
