  • I wish this is what I paid for it :/ Can't even finish the online tutorial without the game crashing.

    • +1

If you are getting the failed zlib error it may be that one of the downloaded files is incomplete, you may need to delete the offending file and let the launcher re-download it.

There are also a number of other fixes available for numerous game problems if you do some internet searches you should find a solution.

      • Thanks Biggles, IIRC I just get GTA V.exe has stopped working and it closes, but I'll take a closer look tonight!

    • I'd buy it even if I was amish..it's that good. But sorry to hear that, what are your system specs? Can you play story mode?

  • The game as per the site is locked to Brazil, so how will it work in Oz.
Sorry for bring a noob… but whats Hola ?

    • Browser extension that acts like a vpn, so the site thinks you're in Brazil. The keys themselves aren't region locked.

      • Nuuvem have added a 'region locked' notice to the GTA V product page, so there is that risk.

REGION LOCKED: This game is restricted to Brazil . Any attempt to activation by RSC accounts other than Brazil are subject to cancellation of the key and RSC account ban.

        • activate using vpn

play is not the same as activate

  • From what I read in Slippys original deal, everyone is playing GTA online in Australia without any hassle using Nuuvem keys.

    • I got it from here pre order and was playing about 10 minutes ago

      • Ditto, works fine

  • Given Steam's new "initiative" of selling mods, those who do not wish to support Valve/Steam may quite enjoy this deal.

    • +1

From what I've read Rockstar are not going to allow mods (and have a history of not allowing mods), and the game launches through rockstar after you run it from steam anyway.

  • Has any one else that got there key from Nuuvem had any issues finding local game sessions? i always get sessions with very few players (3 or 4), really bad lag and often people from all around the world (often not speaking english).
I had to do a heist the other night with players speaking Spanish!!! or is this just common with GTA V online.

    • Same issue but using GMG key. Think it's just GTA online in general issue.

  • have hola updated there website since last deal, cause I cant checkout

Unfortunately your purchase may not be finalized.
Please contact us on our support pages.

    • Try setting Hola to Argentina, instead of Brazil. Looks like they've adapted to this.

  • Did the game had Game is Region Locked to Brazil text in the game store page before as well? From previous experience, they usually put that in when a game actually has activation/play region locking.
Edit. Hmmm and login to account page giving me a 404 Error.

    • +1

you have to log in with hola off to avoid the 404, then turn hola on to add the game to cart.

      • Thanks. That worked. forgot about switching it off to login.
So did it have the Game is Region Locked to Brazil text when you guys bought it earlier? Did they maybe add region lock with the new set of keys?

  • Also getting a 404 error when trying to checkout with Paypal.

    Any way to fix this?

    • Gotta turn off hola before PayPal

      • Turning off hola before Paypal, then clicking Paypal, takes me back to the login page of Nuuvem.

EDIT: Now I'm getting 405 errors!

    • Try setting Hola to Argentina, instead of Brazil. Looks like they've adapted to this.

  • +3

Looks like they have restricted it somehow this time. I have bought previous games from them no problem.
Now, if you turn on Hola to add the game to the cart, then go to your cart..Your game and payment method is disabled…crossed out.
If you turn off Hola and go to your cart..your game is available in your cart to checkout, but as soon as you click Paypal and finalize, it refreshes to an empty Cart.

    • yep same problem here

    • Even if you set Hola to Argentina instead of Brazil?

      • Says game is not available for your region if you shift to AR.

        • That's a pity.
I ordered last week pre-launch - using 'Brazil' it would remove the game from the cart at checkout, but going through 'Argentina' for the whole transaction (log in to Nuuvem, add game to cart, checkout, select PayPal, pay by PayPal) worked.

        • @Thrift: I have a feeling Nuveem never ran out of keys. They got told off by Rockstar, and had taken the product off, then implementing these checks before re-activating the sales page.

  • Yeah.. I'll agree with shadowarrior on this one.. there's no way in hell that Nuuvem would've ran out of keys for nearly a week for a AAA game. I'd say Rockstar told them to close the gap otherwise bugger off.. I tried with a proper VPN and paying with paypal and it briefly notified me that the order was cancelled as it's not available for my region..

I then tried the other payment gateway pagseguro, but they require a CPF (social security number).. I used fakenamegenerator.com to give me semi legit looking numbers/phone numbers/address but got an email at the end of it saying that the order has been put on hold and someone is going to look over it before approving it… So I'm 99.999999999999999% certain that it'll be cancelled..

All this was done using a legit/non hola brazillian VPN.. It's such a shame that they have to use a proper payment gateway which reveals your true location.. Doubt anyone will be able to get a copy now for under $60AUD..

  • To add salt to the cut…GTA 5 PC sold out from DSE from all Gold Coast shops :(

    • "To add salt to the cut" Not really. I refuse to pay the very big markup that Rock$tar what's us PC players to pay, let alone PC Australian Players. Who would buy it on $team for $74.99 US = Around $100 Aust come on. No game I have ever played is worth $100.

  • Yep can't see it on sale anywhere for under $60. This game is not worth $60 let alone $100 Aust on steam. I will not be buying this game for more than $40 Aus!!!!

    • +1

Waiting till it hits $15, who's with me?

  • Google translate says the warning on the Nuuvem GTA V purchase page is now:

"REGION LOCKED: This game is restricted to South America"

This looks to be a different message to the previously reported message:

"REGION LOCKED: This game is restricted to Brazil . Any attempt to activation by RSC accounts other than Brazil are subject to cancellation of the key and RSC account ban."

This suggests they are no longer selling unrestricted keys. Can anyone clarify?
