presumably wasn't MOVEing from stock because it is so ugly. Or is denim and leather back in now for backpacks?

    • +20

I think it doesn't look bad at all. :)

      • Looks, shmooks… it is water tight & functional?

Any pockets on it. inside or out?

How much weight is it likely to carry, before something gives or breaks?

        etc.

    • Yeah it is actually kind of in now.

For men black is dated, can be replaced with blue (trousers) and brown (belt and shoes) etc.

They all bough it for $19.11 on ebay though lol. I personally think the bag looks nice although not too sure about the quality.

    • eBay feed must be covered, at least in part.

This will go well with my Canadian Tuxedo.

  • Would love to buy another messenger bag, sadly it's not on special.

    thanks bought :)

    • So, tell us of its quality, etc.

DSE's web site doesn't seem to let us arrange to pay-in-store, any more…?!?

Can we return it, at PoS if we don't like it?

      • will be picking it up from store hopefully today or tomorrow and will then report back; like anything you buy, I'm sure you can return it if it does turn out to be a PoS

  • More pictures of the back?

They also have a lace-up MOVE backpack on clearance!
    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/computer-accessories/move-15-6-l…

    • Seems impractical to me, like lace-up sandals… :-)

  • I have too many backpacks alreadt….but it's a bit tempting

I can never decide on backpacks without photo examples of what can fit in it & if there's any inner compartments :/

    • By the looks of it it can fit a 15" laptop + maybe a thin notebook or 2 + drink and small front compartment since it's quite thin from the side. It looks practical without being large, squarish and dorky like most backpacks.

This is more than I paid. I purchased the same one for $15.29 when the 20% ebay sale was on.

    • +3

how did you find the bag? please post mini review/pics if you can !

      • First couple hours of the eBay dicksmith deal it was 15.29 then they took up the price.

        • I think exonerate meant quality/space/pocket size and so on? I'd like to know also!

        • @zappy_32: I personally like it. I use it for uni and its perfect for laptop and books. I would recommend buying it and if u weren't happy with it return it back to dicksmith. They have a 2 week return policy, but you must keep the receipt.

  • Its likely a generic brand, listed on the site are some audio accessories aswell under the same brand, but this doesn't mean the bag is of poor quality

  • Ordered one. Thanks!

what do you guys think about the Targus 15.6" MCD-2 Backpack for another $23? Worth the extra money?

    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/computer-accessories/targus-15-6…

Looks like the Targus backpack is normally $60 and reviews online are good

    • $23? It's showing as $42.98 for me.

      • +2

        'another $23' which is +$23

          haha, my bad.

The 13.3" Move messenger bag was pretty good. Ordered one of these too… should be good for lugging things to and from work.

    • The messenger bag is still full price ($55), yea?

      • It's currently full price yeah.

When there was that 20% off sale on ebay from selected vendors (incl DSE obviously) the bag was reduced to about $17 so further 20% off that.

        I have too many bags.

  • Bought one, thanks OP

  • Now expired, back to full price

  • Got one but feel it is too small

  • Went to pick one up (click & collect), it looks cheap, I mean very cheap and small too. Returned it without touching it.

    • Same here, looked like a ladies bag, very small, returned it within 3 minutes of colection

My 2c on the bag (in the event they have another sale on the item):

I bought this in hope to replace my Kathmandu Cotinga 25L backpack for work since this does look a little more business like with the fake leather bits. It doesn't quite live up to this need as:

    • straps are quite thin and back isn't well supported
    • small as others have indicated - have yet to try putting in a 15.6" laptop
    • It has 3 compartments… the main one for laptop, tablet and other things, and to back compartments for accessories. But the back compartments have got no key hook, pen holders, mobile phone compartment, etc… I like to stay organised and these extra features which I got use to on my Everki Flight and the Cotinga (which is much lighter than the Everki) are important in bags I use for work
    • the two water bottle holders on each side of the bag do not have an elastic lip to help hug the bottle

    But for $18, it's a reasonable bag.

Picked up mine today, I can't see what the others are talking about. It's great!

    • Agreed. Sure it's a little on the small side, but for a bag that costs less than 20 dollars its pretty well made.

I've had worse bags at twice that price.
