Even with the arrival of so many new (& pricey) craft beers Little Creatures Pale Ale is still one of Australia's best beers. This a good price for the east coast - $65 @ Dan Murphy currently. From comments, add item to bring price to $120 and use BIG4EASTER to bring price down to $100 (first order only) or use either TEN2015P or COLLECT39 to take $10 off and bring the price down to $106.
Good price in WA too, very unusual to see this below $60 a carton.

Yeah, would appear to be due to the antiquated Qld laws re: selling alcohol in supermarkets. Thus Woolworths isn't a liquor merchant up here and can't offer delivery or in-store pickup. We need BWS or Dan Murphys deals until that time!

The quality of beer went downhill significantly last year. It used to be a decent APA, but now, not so much. Even at $40 a carton I'd think twice about buying it these days.

Actually it has. It was brewed in Fremantle and they upped stakes and moved to Vic. The beer hasn't changed much but it has changed, mainly the carbonation level which is higher, and they've changed the way they've hopped it
Spot on. It ain't what it used to be. But there are no better beers available in this country <$60 a case.
@YOTR: Give Gage Roads Atomic Pale Ale a go for about $45 a case, let me know what you think compared to the new LC

Atomic is a good alternative to Fat Yak, Coopers, James Squire, etc.
Doesn't compare well to LCPA.
@YOTR: If we're talking six-packs though there are quite a few much better options for a similar price. e.g. Ballast Point, Brew Dog, Sierra Nevada — actually Sierra Nevada Pale is a good one if you want to remember how nice LCPA used to be since LCPA was basically based on that beer originally.
@YOTR: 4 Pines APA is also a very good beer too. They are upping capacity so I'm hoping we'll see it on sale under $60 regularly. If you happen to be in Manly, $60 is the standard price at 4 Pines.
Must do a blind comparison of 4 Pines APA & LCPA. Unfortunately can't do one of of LCPA past & present!

6 Packs are good on a 2 FOR Deal as long as they work out to be between $10-15 a pack.

Recipe has changed, they now use Galaxy in the mix (and less Cascade as a result I believe) Both WA and Vic sourced beers have this change.
Less of the lychee taste, more of the passionfruit and such. Still quite a drinkable beer, but not as good as it once was.
You're talking out your ass. The beer hasn't changed at all. Been drinking it when brewed in Fremantle and now in Geelong. Tastes exactly the same. And at $50 a carton (Cheaper than DM too) it's a good buy.

Definitely has changed. They list Galaxy as a hop now, this was never in there a few years back, only Cascade and Goldings.

Can anyone compare Hoegaarden and Stone & Wood Pacific Ale? I've read they're similar. I'm a massive fan of Pacific Ale but have had Weiss-beers in Europe and not been a huge fan. Is Hoegaarden more intense than Pacific Ale?
Hoegaarden is more banana, whilst the Pacific Ale is Passionfruit.
Pity no shop front for the Hoegaarden, otherwise it would be off to Dans and price match a cold slab or two, loved the Estrell being matched with Aldi.

They only had one left at the store I ordered from so they refunded me the other slab at full price $58.40.. so therefore I only paid $48.40 for my slab that's coming, and I should also get the $10 back on cash rewards.. so $38.40 for a slab delivered.
