Given that this promo is set to last 4wks, there probably will be some sales on e.g. itunes cards and TVs.

If you know of a good value purchase from JB, share it with us in the forum below. I've checked the sony bravias, e.g. 46W5500 is $2296, so still more expensive than when the HN sale was on (1844). Other items already on sale however, seem pretty good value.

Please correct me if i'm wrong, but it sounds like you can haggle with the sales people to get an awesome price, then effectively take another 10% off by buying gift cards… i cant find the expiry for gift cards, does anyone know?

    I got mine a few hours ago, despite some poor excuse for a "Customer Service" rep. from JB who replied to my enquiry about the delays in their promotion with the following reply,

    "This promotion is run by Paypal! From what i know, the refund will be processed in the next few days. This will be done automatically by Paypal!"

    I will never will buy on-line from JB again!

      Maybe she thinks there's an exclamation mark at the end of Paypal. Like that 80's pop duo Wham!

      Well, I've still got nothing and I checked just now. Hopefully they are doing it in batches. And I've just had a horrible thought - I've used my sister's Paypal account (but set up with my bank account) but it's my name as the purchaser for this transaction. But that's not a problem is it? Surely they'll just credit the Paypal account that the original transaction came from and not cross-check names (?). Might have to email JBHF and hopefully won't get the !!! rep.

        Hi Titus,

        You should be fine, even though you used your Sister's account. It's a joint Paypal & JB HiFi promotion and the two accounts are not linked in anyway.

        It looks like the rebates are finally coming in for everyone.

        Just for your info - One of my sisters got hers last night and the other hasn't as of today. Guess they really are processing these in batches. So don't despair.
