This is a pretty good deal for a well-regarded VPN service. Normally 1 year of access is $US39.95, and previous deals have gotten down to about $US32, so this works out to $US30 a year.

Hope so, thanks!
To those who are facing slow speeds. Play around with different servers. Have a look here and choose a location with adequate bandwidth, servers, etc. or do a speed test. https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/network/
Tried these guys, but ended up cancelling and getting a refund, which to their credit was a painless process.
I only wanted it to stream NRL games, I tried all their different servers and none could provide a steady watch-able stream, my first assumption was maybe it was a bad stream or even my internet….
Nope went back to old faithful hola better internet chrome extension and all works fine, so I can only assume their servers are over crowded?
I have been with PIA for a while now but just mainly use there proxy settings in my torrent client, I'd that enough?
Find when I use os servers it upsets my banking site and my mail.
Should I have it inn a Australian sever all the time and just use os server when I want to access sites unavailable here?I signed up during the last special a few months back. Initially their brand new Aussie servers were giving decent speeds (still slower than without VPN though). Now however they are much much slower to the point it's often faster to connect to an overseas server.
I suspect they have gotten too many subscribers and are struggling with the load.
"Well regarded" is a bit of an overstatement. Apparently this company hires shills to promote the service and extol its many virtues.

Thanks for sharing this link, I am not sure if I trust PIA anymore. thinking about getting a refund as I signed up on Friday.
Any thoughts from others?I'm not sure why this would influence anyone if you're happy with the service they provide. I don't know what it is about VPN's but they seem to attract a lot of trolls but that doesn't affect the actual service they're supplying.
I use PIA and the support and service is fantastic and if you experience the same I see no reason to leave them. If you're not happy or feel like you can't trust them cancel your sub and try any one of the other 100 out there.
Worth a try now.
Good deal, will definitely look into this with all the new Meta Data laws coming in.
Potentially a dumb question…. IF I live in Sydney, do I select "Connect to Sydney" or "Connect to Melbourne" or one of the overseas location to be free from the prying eyes?
This may be a silly question so apologies in advance.
It says on the website that I can have up to 5 devices using the same VPN. Would this mean I could set it up on my computer and also a friend who lives else where's computer? That way we could share the cost.
Pretty sure it would be within the same household, or maybe 5 devices for one person.
BEWARE! I signed up for an account and the service has not ben working ever since. Have been online to 'Skye' live chatting who has advised me that my issue hasn't been addressed since I purchased the product, 6 days ago, as they had upgrades to do. It Gets Better. I have said I will allow them more time if he can guarantee it won't effect my refund if requested, He can't do that, it must be requested within 7 days of an account creation. If that isn't appalling inflexible customer service I don't know what is
did you pay with paypal ? can't you request a refund then ?
Finally took it above the person I was dealing with who has assured me it is being investigated and I am still covered for a refund. The script of online conversations is sent to you so shouldn't be an issue. Hasn't changed my opinion of them…….yet
How are peoples internet speed? I have tried all the servers and all of them are extremely slow. The Australian Servers i get about 10mbps while yesterday was 40mbp hence quite a fluctuation. What are other peoples experiences?

I looked at the slickdeals site and it suggests the deal is available until the end of the month
