    • +1

      obviously sharing the ozbargain love

  • +1

Wow a 10pk of AAA energizer for $1

  • Delivery: Not available for delivery. Request Information

    Is it pickup only?

    • i would highly recommend pickup , you could still arrange delivery i am sure. usually means no distribution centre stock

  • Ordered $10 worth though i doubt the will have enough stock on hand if people keep ordering heaps of them…

  • ordered $16 worth for pickup - great find.

  • how to pick up?

    • go to store www.ht.com.au

      • Didn't find pickup option on their website. So just ordered my batteries with delivery ($9.19). It's still a good deal though.

        • +1

there is a pick up option i suggest call to confirm your order will get filled and change to pickup

maybe i should just apply for a job there lol

  • What do you think the chances are of us all getting the items we ordered ???

    • slim unless you call to confirm with store as there may be many other orders for the same stuff its up to the person who processess (spelling) the order first at the store

Well they have my money so my 50 packets better show up

        • quick call to the store may provide the answers you seek

        • HT can still take your money but then find out they have no stock. This happened to me with a 8GB USB stick.

Good luck, but for 50 packs that's quite a large volume.

          • @TheBooleanOne: When I bought a laptop, they didn't charge my card until I picked it up

    • thanks but if you follow both links you get the same page, well i did anyway

      • Try clear your browser cookies and you'll get the best sellers tab as pictured in the image.

        • thanks with diff browser (mozilla) clicking the image still takes me to the same page as your link not that i am ungratefull for the link :)

  • Good price, but if you check actual stock levels there's only a handful of batteries australia wide. I doubt there's any left now.

  • more than 50 of the first item in nth ryde so the site says

make that the first 2 items in the search i got c & 2032 easily the cheapest i have ever seen if you were at the carpark sale you would have stocked up already ;)

  • I got $50 worth but Lane Cove is now sold out of all the popular sizes :) EDIT - The Lane Cove store said they did have someone call asking to reserve the stock but they told him it was "Frist Come - First Served" so you will want to get down to your local store.

    • Lane cove is that North Ryde store or is there another store i dont know about

      • Sorry my bad - Yes North Ryde

        • I can confirm North Ryde has no more

  • Waste of time?
I just ordered a whole bunch pickup from WA. But now that I've ordered, the quantities have not been updated.
So I'm expecting a call tomorrow to say all the good stuff was gone before I ordered, and the dregs are not worth the drive.

  • I'm guessing the item availability doesn't change after each purchase ie, it may only be updated once a day (pretty useless feature if that's the case)

  • rang up the VIC store, the lady there said they where sold out. Good deal (in theory)

  • I rang the fortitude valley store. they don't have much stock left, 2xAA alkaline (which isn't really that cheap), some C sized batteries, CR2… mainly unwanted stuff.

    • Fortitude Valley in Brisbane?

  • Is it possible to order for delivery to NSW?

  • I've orderd too. But I don't really expect I can get them.
btw, I choose to pick up from Hawthron shopping center.

  • great deal BUT
    their system really blows!
use paypal and you won't be able to choose PICK-UP. then you'll pay the $9.19 delivery fee
    item availability doesnt update!

  • great deal even with the $10.85 postage.
Most of the AA where sold out, as it states "Stock of some products in the Shopping Cart are no longer available at our Distribution Centre" so didn't bother trying for them, tried for the AAA batteries, so will see how it goes, but am doubtful at this late stage and the fact that some people are ordering 50 - 100 of them :/

  • +1

AA rechargables were still $6 but AAA were a $1 :(

  • very good deal.. thanks a lot for sharing..!@:)

  • great deal was looking for some batteries for all my remotes!! a+

  • +5

…and here's where folk can dispose of all those batteries once they are used (and if they arrive) to be recycled: http://www.recyclingnearyou.com.au :-)

  • Ordered online yesterday for delivery to SA and got a call just now telling me they had no stock left :(

  • +1

Went instore, North Ryde/Macq. NSW, they didnt have anymore instock.

  • Got my note - saying no stock. Appalling business practice to have online sales with no stock control.

  • I still haven't been advised of my order. I am not totally delusional and I know I'm not getting any batteries but how bad is it that they can't acknowledge my order and tell me there is no more stock. They have had 2 whole business days to respond.

  • Placed my order online on 15/11 at 2.30pm. Just got a call from HT to tell me that I have been allocated some AAA and C sized batteries. They could not fulfil my order for AA, D and 9V batteries though. Still pretty happy with the outcome.

  • +1

i got a phone call yesterday to say my order is ready for pickup, but he did read out my 'order' and it wasn't everything i had ordered, some is better than none :)

    • BTY batteries are dreadful. Expect a quarter of their rated capacity…

      • which battery size are you having problems with

  • They called me on monday teling me my order would have to be cancelled though i still have not recived my refund…
