        • Shifty bastards. The phone they offer is supposed to be equivalent or better - see their rain check policy linked in one of my earlier comments.

    • Purchased my on the 3rd of April and still waiting. Last week they told me they will get stock from another store. And this week they are waiting for stock from the manufacturer. He said I'll probably get my in a couple of days or next week.

      • They're lying bastards. As I wrote above they told me they'd get stock from another store after I finally rang them after hearing nothing from them for almost 2 weeks (because I'd selected delivery), the day after I got an email saying my item was on back-order. Um, couldn't they have back ordered and diverted my order to a store before I got in contact with them? They could have always have canceled it later. Lying useless bastards. You can't believe a thing they say. On a positive note the arrivals of new stocks at your pick up store may be quicker than getting stock transferred from another store, if that is outside the control of HN. I see stock is getting closer to me, it looks like what could be my 2nd closest store has stock.

Can you go to another store to pick up your order? Not that I'm planning on doing that, its just that I'm feeling ornery.

I'm gonna think long and hard before ordering from HN again but $9 is $9.

        • They called me yesterday. And they are going to send it by post.

        • Weird, they insisted it has to be picked up and that deliveries were accidents. Mine is waiting for me now.

  • Use here.com free aust off line maps and disable unused features and apps. gps via the net sucks.

  • just checked and in store at mu local HN.

wasnt ready to upgrade my phone and i am still using and happy with my samsung ace 2. thing is i have just ordered a mi fit band …. thanks ozbargin!! and i dont think it will work with my old mobile

question is, will the mi band work of with the huawei?

needs bluetooth 4.0 and android 4.4

    • +1

I just tried my mi band. It works fine.
But the mi account was funny. It wouldn't take my login which I had used previously from an iPad.
Had to create a new account. And they don't let you create an account with an email. You need a mobile number for them to SMS.

This is a good phone, I've played some 3d games on it that other phones have struggled with and it's fine. I've ordered another one.

  • thanks….looks like it should work ok if its v4.0.
Just ordered one for me and the missus anyway. about time we both upgraded our phones.
$40 each with the codes should be able to pick up this afternoon.
