As stated in title, Kogan currently qualifies for the 20% deal on the GoPro Hero 4 Black Edition through eBay. Part of the eBay 20% off tech deal

This thing is extremely rare to find on sale, thought keep in mind it is coming from Hong Kong (ie grey import), as many of the cheapest offers available are. As a comparison, next cheapest is $580+shipping from a quick search.

      removed from these imported models
      for the last generation you needed to mess around with kogan to try to get a firmware update as gopro would not allow without serial
      I do not know if that's the case now since you can update with smartphone

      I understand that the GoPro company will stop supplying distributors, and/or retailers, who sell outside of their designated area/region.

      GoPro can identify those distributors/retailers via the Serial Numbers on the GoPro cameras.

      Therefore, Kogan (or someone in the supply chain) removes (or did remove) the serial numbers.

  Saw the Good Guys are selling the 4 Silver with free pickup or $5 postage for $497- $397.60 after discount.

  Looks about the best deal around for something like that, and not a massive spec difference between the 2.

  For the very foolish person who 'negged' my comment regarding this not being a "grey import", but a Private Import:-

  Kogan's T&C on their ebay store http://stores.ebay.com.au/kogan/pages/terms-of-sale

  "It is important to note that different Terms and Conditions apply in respect of orders for KA Products than those which apply in respect of orders for Kogan HK Products. Where you place an order for Kogan HK Products to be delivered outside of Hong Kong, you will be the importer of the Kogan HK Products into your jurisdiction."

  and section 17.5

  I m thinking about buying this from kogan since the price seems to b cheapest around.. For me, kogan customer service is very nice and easy to deal with.
  However, can someone share experience for this gopro grey imported?

      I just bought 4K tv,so the only reason to go black instead of silver. Otherwise i might just wait for gopro 5 ^^ // or just new iphone
