then 10% off is another 8.50 off that
=76.5
76.5 =/= 75
@Davo1111: Are you sure that's how they will calculate it? I know it's the correct way, but how many will do it! ;)
Kinda depends on what formula the staff member chooses to apply I suppose, how enthusiastic, and also how good their maths are!
I reckon a lot of lazy/apathetic/generous ones will just go X% + Y% = Z%, I've seen many do it just to make life easy for themselves! I would! ;)
@StewBalls: I think you will find that the 15% will come off automatically at the register, so any additional discount will only be off the now reduced price.
@AntMan76: The staff discount comes off automatically by scanning the discount card. No need to add the discounts etc. Also, the 15% more than likely requires manual markdown as it's a one day offer
@bargain88: I would be EXTREMELY surprised if the staff working there today are required to manually calculate the discounts. And I wasn't saying the staff discount is manually done, but just that (assuming the 15% is automatic), then their systems will take the discount off the already reduced price when the staff card or number or however they do it is entered/scanned.
