  • targeted pain relief.

The nurofen can lead to an unnecessarily full cupboard, and possible health risks - pushing the same sh*t with paracetamol can lead to days of excruiating pain, and funeral costs :-( I note the "targeted to the pain" meme has now moved on to volataren gel, Ibuprofen's [ nurofen] heavier cousin…

Nice find at the junction of flu and hay-fever season Boss :-)

But I was really hoping for some period pain relief :(

    • It is the same thing with different packaging :)

Looking at Chemist Warehouse prices, it looks like the period pain relief tabs are 46c each vs 17c each for the standard. I can't believe that multinational Reckitt Benckiser would sell the same product for 3 times the price of the standard product if they do the same thing. Say it isn't so :(

I found that phenylephrine is a poor substitute for pseudoephedrine. Tried it when I was congested on a flight. It was a long flight wishing I had pseudo like a drug addict

      poor substitute

thats an understatement.. i'd call it an attempt at a pseudo placebo

Damn, I was really looking forward to Neurofen Pocket Relief too!

  • One look at the back of the packet confirms there is no difference between any of them. I'm surprised they we're able to get away with it for so long.

  • I buy rafen 50x 200mg for $2.40. This is slightly better I guess

  • What is the expiry date?
