Hi all,
I have a shed that doesn't have any ventilation at all and smells like my lawn mower most of the time. Opening door doesn't help.
What can I install to freshen it up a little? Something thats less conspicuous than a whirlybird.
Thanks

So, the shed is basically made out of aluminium foil :-) and has a flat roof. That doesn't give you a lot of choice. To move any reasonable amount of air, you'll probably need something active, rather than just a passive vent at two opposing ends of the shed. Even though you don't like the way it looks, a "whirlybird" would probably give you the best results.
Have you thought of something like a solar powered ventilation fan? The ones in Bunnings and even eBay seem rather expensive, though.
Whirly bird and Louvre, but seriously it's probably not worth the effort if the shed is tiny.
hose the lawnmower & catcher after use.
Doesn't really help with the fuel smell though.
This might help you?

Hi heremaia,
Your best Suggestion Please Whirly bird or Solarking??
Hi delise,
I have installed Solarking in my garage. It’s a flat roof metal garage and used to get very hot. The fan works wonders and is certainly a big improvement. To make it even better I have added a small solar controller and 12 volt battery. This way you get a constant speed and it operates into the evening as well. Still uses the inbuilt thermostat to cut on/off at something like 25 degrees. My Best Suggestion go for SolarKing
Hi heremaia,
Thank You So Much
It's hard to recommend ventilation without knowing anything about how the shed is constructed. Do you have (or can you find and post) a picture of it, or something like it?
