Hi all

I've been 'lurking' on the Dan Murphy site since after Christmas, waiting for them to clear out their Christmas hampers at bargain prices. That time has now come, with three hampers priced to sell. You can choose from the following:

Spanish hamper ($15, down from $50) Sold out (for good this time I think)

Italian hamper ($15, down from $50) Sold out

Gourmet hamper ($19, down from $75) Sold out

I had a selection of the Spanish and gourmet hampers delivered yesterday.
The gourmet hamper is arguably the best value - it comes with a bottle of Tintara shiraz 2012 (95 pt Halliday rated, and priced at $24.99 as a single bottle buy), as well as Cobram Estate olive oil, balsamic vinegar and Maggie Beer quince paste (all 2016 expiry dates), and Tuckers Natural crackers (May 2015 expiry date).

The Spanish hamper comes with a decent Paella pan (not too flimsy), some paella seasoning, and a bottle of 2011 Pago de Cirsus (priced at $17.99 as a single bottle).

Get in quick, as these won't last long!

  Thanks bought 2 Spanish hampers. Used DMWEL0315 for free delivery to metro area. The other 2 hampers seem to have sold out.

      Click and collect put the hamper to $50 for me. Thankfully the delivery code above worked to give free delivery on my order

  The gourmet hamper looks pretty good. I've tried the Maggie Beer Quince Paste and it goes amazingly with blue cheese (try it and thank me later :)). Its also about $6-$8 a tub so having this in a hamper with a decent wine too makes it pretty good value

      I received mine yesterday and the paella pan is bigger than expected and of good quality.

        Agreed, I got one along with a workmate. The pan is very good but nothing spectacular, probably worth $20-$30 alone in stores though so definitely a good deal overall.
