300

Fantastic game at a fantastic price :)

Spotted at Target Rhodes - however Target prices appear to be uniform across stores, unlike Big W etc.

here's the lasoo link if anyone is interested
    http://www.lasoo.com.au/offer/xbox-360-games/4ggsouw37.html?…

EDIT: Sorry that is for the 360 version which is also at $39.95

    • Thanks! I've added 360 to the title.

Great bargain. Don't forget to pick up Liberty City Episodes if you're a GTA fan.

You can get it cheaper from CDWOW: http://www.cdwow.com.au/games/GRAND-THEFT-AUTO-IV-PLATINUM-P…
for $32.95 and they often have sales on which will make it even cheaper.

Shouldn't be a negative since its in store and still cheaper than retail. Anyway, I'd personally rather buy from Target and get the nice box instead of the grey box with large yellow banners that CDWOW offers.

      • +1

Yeah, the one kycheng linked to is the platinum version. I much prefer the original version.

    • They have 5% off and free delivery today so I got it for $31.30!

      Thanks

nkbswe5 & SOaDaholic. Are you serious….does it really matter? Do you sit the case infront of the screen when you play the game. I can understand maybe going for the other version as it means you can go get it now but just because of the box art? I think you guys have too much money :-) haha

    • Oh. I only just realised that CD WOW delivers free. Hah!
I was thinking "$32.95, alright how much is shipping..?"
Yeah they seem to have sales on here and there whenever I look. A lot of places are getting rid of shipping fees.
Having to go up to the shops…ugh. Eff. Ert.

  • Still not as good as the GAME.com.au GTA4 Limited Edition version, which was the same price delivered. But this is the same price and I might actually get a copy from this deal unlike GAME who take your money, and then refund it (they actually charged and then refunded my card, which is, I'm pretty sure Illegal).
Good deal, cheapest Australian GTA4 price.
Worth taking this to K-Mart for their 15% price beat guarantee.
Bugger! it's $40 at KMart too!
    http://www.kmart.com.au/Catalogue/PageLoader.ashx?CatalogueI…

    • $40 is more than $39.95. You should be able to still get 15% off.

      • It's only 15% of the difference… ie 15% of 5c
so the KMart price match price would be $39.9425

      • Got Kmart to price match it down to $39.95 when i bought it 5 days :D just showed the Catalogue.

They had almost all the games that target have for $39.95 for $40.

      kmart only price match now

Who can forget that annoying ad? I turn the TV off when that comes on, it's terrible - not memorable in a good way.

  • +1

GTA 4 was over rated garbage, saints row 2 was a much more fun game

cheap game however. should also add that target have a whole list of games for $30 and $40, including haze, sonic, little big planet etc

    • Hi KamKam - I don't mean to argue with your personal opinion but I'm surprised that anyone could not enjoy GTA4 …. take a look at metacritic - GTA4 @ 98 vs SR2 @ 82.

      • One of the best received games yet, many reputable sites throwing a 10/10 at it. The success of the download content / episodes is also amazing, usually they get poor reviews but the two episodes are raking in high 90s from critics.

Admittedly, the experience was, and still is horrible on the PC (even with new ATi 58xx video cards). Very CPU intense.

This was the reason why I actually bought an Xbox 360, just to play GTAIV.

  • Nooooooooooooooo. I just paid $46 for a used on from ebay last month.

    • lol i hate when that happens !
