not sure. Saw it on slickdeals.
If it is, mods please delete
Windows 8's learning curve is frustratingly steep. Every time I use it, I hate it to hell. Just about everything is done differently and you have to relearn everything.
Seems fairly self-explanatory to me. I feel as though it's more of a change in aesthetics than function, especially so with Windows 8.1 bringing back a heap of classic elements.
I'm not a guru like you unfortunately. When I want to do something, I think about how did I do it in W7? And then I try it and find it doesn't work.
After you just installed a new app or game, in W7 it's highlighted in orange so you can easily find it. It doesn't do that in W8, and you have to look through the entire metro interface to find it, and if you don't know exactly what they called it, it takes even longer.
Here is another free Windows 8 book for dummies
https://marketing.dell.com/Global/FileLib/Windows_8/windows-…Free update to Windows 10, right?
whatever you do, dont press the windows start button.
Thing this book needs:
How to reinstate the Start button by installing Classic Shell.
How to turn off MANDATORY updates (one of which completely wiped my 8" Dell tablet making it unable to boot).
How to start the system in classic view and not metro view, etcEasier solution: Upgrade to Windows 7.
Windows 8.1 resolves those issues.
Windows 10 resolves those issues.
FTFY.
I believe anything you need you can find on the internet just by simply asking google ? :)
I've gotta say.. It looks strangely like an affiliate program…
And this doesn't help (from main page link);
