  How is this a bargain when it's retail price is US$65 in china. Even with your bit on the top, double is way too much. Don't put some arbitrary price and call it a bargain

  To be fair, the Xiaomi stuff is always much more expensive outside of China.

  But I'n not sure how a "Selfie stick"/tripod is worth $us40.

  And I'd becareful of buying unreleased products purely on reputation. Just look at the SJ5000+ it was a big disappointment, full of bugs, etc (especially compared to the SJ5000wifi & SJ4000).

    You're right, there are also a lot of discuss in China talking about the price of the selfie stick/monopod. The gap between a standard version and a travel version is around $17 (100RMB) in China.
    But after few days use of the stick, the build quality is great as it's advertised and I accept the price of $17 to be honest.

    The waterproof case should be available soon, probably in April.
