It is a very close price compared to a computer monitor+hdtv tuner+dvd player, so if you want that all in one it is a pretty good price.
And don't forget speakers.
Some 24" monitors have speakers @ $220 or even less. But it definitely won't match the quality of TV speakers.

eh with aldi anyways u buy it take it out play around with it..and if its not what you expected u can take it back no questions asked, with something number of days, cant remember what it was though but yeah….no loss except ur time i guess. i have the 32inch fullHD for 799 and that seems great, except it allows you to type in like 2 or 3 digit channels without pressing the multi number button so everything u press 7 or 9 it waits to make sure ur not typing anything else then changes the channel.
does anyone know if it plays divx? pretty sweet that it has usb but id only need the usb for that reason?My local Aldi (Meadowbank NSW) is sold out. Does anyone know of anywhere in Sydney that still has these in stock??
:( Was waiting in line with about 10 other people before my local store in Edgecliff opened at 9am, but four people behind me ran and pushed in front of everybody else in the queue and bought up all the stock, all were gone in less than 1 minute. One poor bugger who was waiting for over half an hour missed out. I drove to Maroubra but they sold out in less than 10 minutes.
If anybody knows a Sydney store where they still have stock, I still want to buy one too. Thanks in advance…

I'm surprised to see a full hd tv this small, especially for this price with inbuilt dvd player. Good deal would make for a good cheap tv for gaming console and general dvd/tv use in the bedroom.
