Hi guy's I've just got a couple of quick questions regarding Projectors, I'm currently streaming movies on my 23" desktop computer moniter and although the quality is pretty good with most movies I'm not quite getting that home cinema experience!. I was just wondering if anyone else had set up a mid range ($400-$500) projector and had any feedback/reviews regarding the quality and affordability of the system. also if anyone has any recommendations or advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Depends. Is that 400-500 normal price, or bargain price? I managed to pickup an epson w18 for just over $500 from dicksmith, but thats a projector that normally retails for $800, and the only way I was able to get it for that price was to combine a markdown + 12% off deal + gift cards
Whats the size of the room you want to put it in and how much natural light gets in there? Also you need to factor in the cost of a projector screen if your going to do it right, although a white wall works if your like me and just want a large screen on the cheap.
No idea about the projector…but why not just buy a bigger tv ? 50"+? and then connect a hdmi cable to your computer? :D
