    Hmmmm, trying to unsubscribe my email address using the link in their email but Deals Direct site is saying email is invalid.

      Did you use an email with special characters in it? The unsubscribe link generated for you contains a carbon copy of your email address with no URL encoding, causing it to fail. You can replace the character in the URL using the encoding reference here: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_urlencode.asp to unsubscribe.

        Yes, I used the + symbol but the unsubscribe url seems to use what looks like a hex string that I presume is my email address.
        I was able to unsubscribe a 2nd email account from them that didn't have any symbols. It too had a hex string as part of the unsubscribe URL.

          Could you change your email address to one without symbols , perhaps change it to the email address you have already unsubscribed from. Then later unsubscribe from the changed email address. Just a thought.

          Assuming you didn't make an account with Deals Direct, I don't think you can change the email address. Your only options are to contact them directly to remove you from their mailing list or set up a spam filter in Gmail.

          They seem to have created an account automatically for me from a guest order. I don't enter any password as far as I'm aware. I was able to login by going through the password reset process which was handy since I mistyped my disposable email address.

          According to the account page, changing the email of your account does effect the newsletter, you need to unsubscribe separately, which I will be doing soon if the spam doesn't stop.

    How do you get the "free shipping" as in the title? Is there a separate code, or is it just that the 10GIFT code is buggy and discounts total price incl. shipping (when it says it shouldn't)?

    THANKS doesn't appear to be a valid code, and the LOVEDEALS newsletter signup code doesn't work even though I'm using the same email, nor can I find any codes to change the shipping rates.

      The free shipping component was a promotion that run over the weekend I think and has finished, it was automatically applied. So I don't think you will get free shipping now.

      I thought I was sent the wrong thing as well but in my case I'm probably mistaken… the card itself has a C4 logo but the cardboard packet has C2 on the back of it so I was worried. Probably/hopefully it's what I ordered as I don't fancy trying to return it. Is there any way to tell what speed/class a particular card is without running tests on it?

          So I entered my email address and clicked reset password and entered a password.

      It changes to "Shipped: <date>" when shipped. Mine shipped the day later according to that. I didn't get the shipped e-mail either, so the priority post they lashed out on may well have been wasted with the item sitting in my unchecked mailbox. I would have preferred cheaper shipping and/or registered post and/or a padded post bag. I expect more for a $5 shipping charge then a plain brown envelope without an invoice included. A flash drive may not need a padded post bag, but it shows you care. You should see the stupid lengths Vodafone went to when I ordered a $1 SIM online (in true OzBargainer fashion to save $1)

      It's the first time I've used Deals Direct and without some other great coupon I won't be using them again they are far too expensive.

    After a few calls to DD found mine has shipped as of friday. However I didn't order one of the listed deals. I ordered another brand 16GB memory card for $14.95 less $10 with transit care of 2.95 which i couldn't get rid of.

    Like most things here if you go for the deal listed item, you run the risk thousands others have done the same. (2900+ clicks)

    This happened on the staples clearance products order. When I ordered the printers etc from the list I got nothing, whereas I got a box of overalls for $2 and some great Gumboots for $3 in another order.

      Received my first order this morning (had been showing as shipped about a week ago). Expect my second order to come in on Monday (changed to shipped a day after the first order). Each ordered was a kingston 16gb 3.0 drive.

    Dealsdirect mob should be banned, they shipped my item last week on Thurs and i have still not received it.

      Not sure if problem is with DealDirect or Australia Post.

        Its not AusPost. I have received my other parcels from interstate from AusPost that were posted this Monday.
        They were normal shipments and not express.
        So it surely is a fault at Dealsdirect, they must be drop shipping.

      They just use regular post for these small items, so there's no tracking. Not sure what they do if you opt for "Transit Care" - registered perhaps. If they really sent it, you should have it by now unless you live in woop woop.
