Anyone seen any new/recent cards with 5% Cashback on PayPass Purchase deals? Ive exhausted Citibank, ING & ME Bank in recent yrs.

Not expecting a permanent promo from any 1 financial institution but wondering if any other banks have had similar promos, i'd be happy to jump from one to another
can you close your accounts for MEbank etc for over a year and then reopen as a new customer?
I asked them by email. Yes you can close accounts. But you will never be a new customer, ie. there's no time limit etc.

Citibank Simplicity Credit card 5% cashback for 4 months is still active. You said you've exhausted Citibank, not sure if you just mean the Citibank plus account or this cc deal as well.

still active till april 8. internet banking is terrible to use, transaction take ages to show up. cashback isn't credited until the 15th of the following month.

I personally don't expect any new to come simply because 5% cashback is too much for a permanent promotion. PayWave/PayPass fees are less than 5% so it must also covered by some sort of marketing budgets that are always limited.
