We clearly have completely different definitions of 'best' newspaper. The Guardian is even more blatantly biased and one-sided in their left-wing views than what The Australian is with their right-wing views.
Can I cancel after the first 6/12 weeks?
Edit: is it only me (trying in 3 different browsers) or doesn't it continue when clicking "Complete" in the first form?
Yes, I can cancel. See below + Apparently you shouldn't put certain characters in the form fields (brackets perhaps?)
Continuous Service Subscriber Program
You give permission to Guardian Weekly to charge your credit card the price above now and in time to renew your subscription, without interruption, before the start of each new term at the guaranteed rate then in effect unless you tell Guardian Weekly to stop.
You may cancel at any time and receive a full refund for any unmailed issues. You understand this authorisation will be effective until you cancel it.
We will write to confirm your subscription and future renewal rate.
I want to sign up just to support this paper. Sure it has some evident left bias but at least it's sticking somewhat to good journalistic codes. I felt the SMH was quite good until I picked one up recently. Felt like a tabloid… However, there are still some great columns and coverage. Weekend SMH is quite fun.
Signed up. Someone remind me to cancel.
Remember to cancel.
Best paper in Australia by a long margin. Actual news, and no nonsense that typifies moribund aussie papers. Also practically no ads.
