I returned mine, battery would last less than one day.

    • Baffled why these smartbands don't recharge based based on motion like watches have for decades npw.

      • That requires mechanical parts which are expensive to manufacture.

      • hello? solar power?! these things have tiny batteries, like 50mAh to 100mAh, even a small solar cell from a solar powered watch might do the trick

        • Solar charging is very inefficient though, something between 22 to 25 percent energy conversion. And the solar cells would add to the bulk of the watch, making it rather cumbersome for sport.

Wasabinator has asked specifically about recharging "based on motion" and my comment was pertaining to that.

Better to get the miBand at less than half the price!

    • I have been looking at getting a miBand, are they any good?

      • I am very happy with mine on iOS, only issue is if you import the steps into the Health App it counts double steps ( 1 form the phone 1 from the band )

        • Don't have one myself. But from what I gathered:

          Pros
          - Cheap. about $22 delivered
          - Pedometer
          - Tells your sleep patterns
          - Can sync with iPhone as bohdans happily reports
          - Long batt life

          Cons
          - No screen, cannot double as a watch. Looks like I'm wearing too many accessories with a watch on one hand, and a miband on another.
          - No heart rate monitor, need to get the fitbit surge which is around $160??
          - Not very aesthetically pleasing as Fitbit.
          - Parents don't like me wearing something with lots of "waves", depends how you stand on this.

          Overall
          - Pros outweigh the cons. It's great that it counts your steps. My recommendation is to pay a bit more and buy from fasttech. I got my xiaomi 10800mah charger there, it's authentic and delivery was fast-ish from China (8 days?)

        • the heart rate is one of those things I would like. I can already count my steps with my phone.

  • Not really a bargain it's been that price since release.
