Travel Backpack - Osprey Waypoint?

Hi all,

I am thinking to buy a travel backpack. I am just planning a holiday where I won't be staying in a place for more than 2 nights. So I dont think I should bring suitcase. It will be annoying to carry around and sightseeing.

I dont know which one to get nor if that is a good price. So far shortlisted,

  • What sort of climate are you travelling in?

Those bags are HUGE and will be a PITA to carry around, especially if you're moving every 2 days…

I'd pack light and aim for a <50l pack.

    • More like a suburban/ metropolitan/cities … But moving ard so a suitcase dragging will be quite annoying.

  • I did over a year of backpacking with an osprey farpoint 55. It was flawless.

  • I had a wheelie bag and day pack and unless you're hiking up some pretty mountainous roads / dirt roads with this you can't go wrong. Excellent for suburbs and metropolitan cities.

Backpacks are good but I found it much easier to wheel my stuff around.

  • +1

i finally went with osprey farpoint 70. Reason i dont want to drag around is that i am going to Asia. High density population cities.
