Isn't Sniper Elite 3 now available for free with a gold subscription?!.

    • +5

You're thinking of Sniper Elite V2.

    • +1

It was on sale for like $15.

  • the 5 dollar sign up isn't working for me. I keep getting:

Sorry! There was an unexpected error.
    Please try again.

i even tried different emails :S

    • I just tried a fake email and it worked, someone is going to get one lol. What are you using?

      • was using hotmail and yahoo. maybe it's a cookies thing? gonna delete my cache and try again.

        • +1

If you're using chrome (maybe otehrs) you can use incognito (crtl+shift+N). Everything done in that tab will not use your cache and upon closng the tab nothing will be remebered by chrome.

    • Me too!

    • Wait 15 mins for the email to arrive.

      • Was a 1.5 hour wait for me.

Be aware that JB is also having a decent sale atm, and some games are cheaper…eg: Dead Space 3 is $10, as is the Hunter Edition of Crysis 3 etc:

    http://www.buckscoop.com.au/deals/crysis-3-hunter-edition-mo…

    • I found Dead Space 3 to be the suckiest game that ever sucked… but at least it could suck with an N7 spacesuit.

I have it on xbox 360, have advertised it for sale several times and nobody is interested, soon to the recycle bin I think.

  • Phew, lucky I didn't Wolfenstein the other day. Thanks again OP!

  • For some reason, my welcome code is not valid and I just got it. Contact us if you need help, they say. Are the Wii U games part of the Super Saturday sale? I'm thinking of getting Nintendo Land.

    • Is there a minimum purchase required to use the sign up code?

      • +1

*To redeem your $5 discount voucher, you must create an account and log in. Minimum order value of $25. Voucher limited to 1 per person. Excludes Harvey Norman & iTunes Gift Cards.

        • Ah! Thanks!

    PC Games from $8

True but there's only one game for $8. C'mon you sound like Dick. Most are $17 or more.

  • +3

SC Blacklist is so amazing, easily worth $10!!!

  • still waiting for my code to be sent to my email.. How long does it take normally?

    • meh,, no pickup from Fyshwick store!

      • took about an hr for me

  • -8

I expect I'll get a few downvotes for this but as a gamer who mainly plays on PC, I find it hilarious that this made it onto the front page with these prices.

    • -1

      I'm sorry, I don't get your point.

      • +2

I think he means he doesn't like the PC Deals which is fair enough.

      • -4

It's just that these sale prices barely compare to the sale prices of their PC counterparts. Alien Isolation for $48? That's pretty much the non-sale price of the game on Steam. Is that actually a good deal? I genuinely don't know since I don't follow the prices of console games.

I don't feel a PC vs console discussion is appropriate here so I'm just going to leave it at that.

        • -1

That's for a download, these are hard copies and its $43 after $5 credit and that's heaps cheaper than any other retailer, there are definitely some that are more expensive but majority are cheaper :)

        • @TRENT86: Fair enough. I didn't mean to be disrespectful with my original comment so I'm sorry if I came off that way.

        • +1

@Eon-Rider: Yeah I know, that's why I didn't neg your comment :) Pc game versions are usually cheaper even for hard copies against consoles too

        • +2

Alien Isolation for $48? That's pretty much the non-sale price of the game on Steam.

Not even close. Prices on Steam are in USD.

          $49.99 USD = ~$64 AUD

        • @kamoi: Ah, you're right. Completely forgot about that since I rarely buy games off Steam to begin with.

        • @kamoi:

Game keys for the PC version are actually $34 (AU) from G2Play and cheaper at other online retailers.

        • @infinite: Cheapest source I have is actually less than half the price you mentioned (~$16 AUD) :P

    • Well then… why don't you show us where to get WolfensteinTNO for PC at this price?

      • +1

That wasn't really my point. I was just surprised that these sale prices are enough to get the deal onto the front page whereas if the PC counterparts were on sale for these prices, they'd pretty much get ignored.

Maybe these are good deals for console games. I really don't know.

        • +1

Maybe these are good deals for console games. I really don't know.

          Then maybe you shouldn't comment?

    • I expect I'll get a few downvotes for this but as a gamer who mainly plays on PC, I find it hilarious that this made it onto the front page with these prices.

why is there always some PC gamer that 'just doesn't get it' ?

For those that either prefer or like consoles these are good prices, do we console gamers come into PC deals and Steam sales posts and tell you we find it funny you spend money on games you probably won't play? The answer to all of them is most likely no… So why come into a non pc gaming thread being salty like that?

      • +2

Yeah if you buy a console game you get your money's worth. There is likely a psychological element because you hold more value in what you have purchased. You put the hours into the game, cherish and enjoy the time put in and then if you wish, once you have finished the game, you can resell it (ps4). As for PC games, I have wasted money before on steam sales, $5-10 games, buying a whole heap of them only to never even get around to playing any of them.

Thank god this place no longer exists in my shopping center, the only thing that the local franchise could do is to rip people off, sending out catalogues and not honoring their prices saying that they don't have to cause it is only for one store in the state no where near and their store address stamped on it. The next rip off merchant in line also closed their doors.

Now they have the choice of dick onsite with no stock (pin dick) or tgg where there is only one sales guy for the whole store but still requiring you to talk with him to get the price printed on the box while the checkout slobs stare and tell people to hound the minority. Hopefully the replacement will be jbs.

  • I've had a code sent to twice to 2 different emails (hotmails) took 5-10 minutes for me.
Ordered Battlefield 4 for PS4 for $20 earlier today.

    • Did both work? T&C says 1 per person

      • +1

I did notice the T&C so I went to see if TGG would beat HN's price including the $5 off voucher on the item I wanted, and they did..

So I didn't end up using the 2nd one (well not yet anyway), was just stating that the voucher seem to coming through fairly quick.

        • Darn! I should have done the same, I placed an order and now got an email saying they will let me know once order's ready to be picked up……

  • Took all night for the $5 code to get sent. Wanted Wolfenstein for PS4 but sold out. Lucky X1 version isn't. How long does it usually take to get the email to pick it up?

  • Should I get Battlefield 4 from Harvey Norman for $20 ($5 sign up) or Battlefield 4 Premium Edition from the PlayStation Store for $35.96. This is my first Battlefield game and I enjoyed Battlefield Hardline Beta.

    • +1

      premium from PSN store!

      • Alright, thanks.

  • Thanks OP. Got wolfenstein ps4 with $5 off voucher!

    • Whereabouts are you? It sold out everywhere close to me last night.

      • WA. Got it late the night before, upvoted the following morning.

  • +4

For anyone struggling to get the $5 voucher, I got mine straight away but don't plan on using it.

    Welcome5QSSFUTW76ESF
    Enjoy

  • Cheers picked up thief on ps4 for $25. Had pretty much everything else and never bought this on release due to average reviews. For 25 though its worth a playthrough.

  • +3

Too many games no time for gaming

  • So is there a $5 fee to sign up to buy stuff from them?

    • No you sign up for Free and get $5 code sent to your email

      • Ah, I see. Thanks.
