      Hi Zidago. That's a question we regularly ask courier companies. It has a lot to do with volume apparently..

      nothing to do with distance, everything to do with volume. Freight companies fly far more stuff to Perth than they do Darwin so the cost per KG to send it is much lower. They probably keep local staff in the major locations which keeps costs down, they may have to contract locally to do the to the door delivery in Darwin.

      OP, really good price on Leffe, I'll be grabbing some!

      Uncle Dan has Leffe Blond for $59.90 plus delivery (delivery only) - $99.99 to pick up in store. Jim's cellars is $59 plus delivery.

      So the above price is very good.
