Anyone know how to buy those Ebay 20% PSN cards for $40USD?

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/50-Sony-Playstation-Network-Card-for…

    • paypal don't work?
i would like to know too

      • It won't check out for me. I'm assuming you need a US paypal account, but I'm too paranoid to try due to my experiences with Paypal freezing payments and asking for verification.

        • Nup. tried changing to a fake US address on ebay, but when you login to paypal to pay it says:
"This recipient does not accept payments from non-US PayPal accounts."

          No chance

        • @Kanasuke:

Not just change to a fake US address, you need an US paypal account. The comment below indicates a different error.

  • I sent USA money to a USA Paypal account that I made, but so far I keep getting this error but when I try to buy the PSN Cards

"Return to merchant and try a different payment method
We are not able to process your payment using your PayPal account at this time. Please return to the merchant's website and try using a different payment method (if available)."

I hope that the money may clear a bit later, but I am not holding my breath
Just to let you know if you transfer

160.00USD by "pay for goods and services" the Fee amount: $6.54 USD
(and 21 days wait, before it clears)

    But if you transfer

$120 by "send money to friends and family" the fee is $1.20

    I know better next time

  • Haven't touched my Vita for 6 months, I wonder when's next AAA game coming out?
Come on Sony we want Monster Hunter on Vita

    • During a recent interview (June 2014) between Polygon and Shuhei Yoshida, Sony Worldwide Studios head mentioned that the company is looking at indies, third-party devs, and Remote Play as the biggest focuses for the PS Vita. When asked if he thinks this means the Vita would be getting fewer first-party games going forward, he replied:

"I would say, yes, that’s correct."

Sony doesn't want to “risk” supporting their own device with a development budget. What reason is there for the other big publishers to do what Sony isn't doing?

      • If they make triple A's on the Vita, they'd be throwing money away. Wouldn't you rather that money be spent on PS4 games?

Indie titles do better because they're lower risk.

It's just something you have to accept. There are plenty of worthwhile indies and medium budget games (JRPGs mostly).

        • the good thing is, the Vita is still popular in Japan (sort of) so there are still developments there. The bad thing is, they're all japanese titles with limited appeal.
