The tripadvisor reviews seemed mixed and leaning towards the bad.
From the picture: painted brick wall, tacky polka dot shower curtain, barely enough room to fit small bedsides, bathroom sliding door doesn't even seem like it's fitted properly (check out the skewed shadow the leading edge makes on the entrance). Surprised it has white linen! Seems like the price is befitting the quality but still ok if that's what you're after.
Stayed here a couple of years ago. The rooms are all different sizes/shapes, the room we had was quite small and the bathroom was tiny (Still bigger than Japan standards).
The locations is great, close to China town and the City. We just walked everywhere from our hotel.
Overall it's in a good location and is cheap. The rooms aren't 5 star, but are comfortable.
I have stayed here twice with the partner. The staff are friendly, the rooms basic but tidy and reasonably spacious. I have felt the price is reasonable and that was when paying regular prices.
You shouldn't expect rooms like the Ibis or Hilton, but they are decent and noise doesn't carry and it feels reasonably private. Nice to be that close to Market city/china town too, so no late night noise coming through the windows.
Yea I stayed there just before christmas.
The place isn't great…but if you're looking for somewhere to crash after a night of drinking, as I was, it's fine.
The street noise can be a bit loud in the morning, but you get what you pay for, really.

This very close to the entertainment Centre (Qantas Credit Union Arena)
This hotel is very centrally located and good for late night dining and partying. I found it to be fair accommodation, I probably would not stay there again as it was loud at night (noise coming from the street) but for the sale price it's pretty good.
