No idea if this is still populated. Decent deal if you enjoyed the 48 hrs of game time available in early Feb.

As usual you need an American address. Use this website or other ones available, make sure you select a state with no added tax (check here). I use McDonalds HQ.

I wouldnt spend 99cents on this. I still haven't played any of the new maps sin e you can NEVER get games.

    • That bad is it? I remember the last deal posted for this game people were saying you always find games. I don't who who to believe!

      • I watched an episode of the simpsons on my pc while it searched Then I uninstalled to massive waste of space, I haven't bothered with it since.
Maybe different on xbox but pc is bad.

        • Please, I'm no peasant ;). I played the beta but didn't particularly like it so I never picked it up.

        • @kaneissik: when it first came out it was fun but after a while for me about 150 hours you realized it's VERY repetitive and very not many titans not many guns only.
if they had more weapons titans and attachments for the titans it would make it better but it's still very simply game with not many things to unlock.

thankfully with the latest update you're able to see how many AU players are playing each game mode. So you're no longer blindly waiting.
Still very easy to get a match even on a weekday.

      • Problem with this one is that it's online only and there are no players.

  • It's also available on Amazon for the same price, sans VPN..

You posted the same link as in the OP ;)

    • You don't need to use a VPN, you just need to have an American address.

oh.. hahahahahaha.. I just saw 'origin' and thought he was buying it from the origin mexican store.. I didn't even bother looking at the link.. lol

The season pass is available for $12.50 on Gamersgate US.

  • Here is a list of states that Amazon charge sales tax in, though I use one in Las Vegas and don't get charged tax on digital purchases

    • Thanks for this, I tried searching for something like this to no avail. I'll add it to the OP!

  • Been curious to give this a decent chance. I've spent more on phone games. Thanks OP :)

    • I absolutely love the fact that you just compared next gen games to phone games. 10/10.

Still. It's overhyped for the amount of content. And was overpriced, when it was $80. 6 bucks though? Can't go wrong with Coffee-priced games.

This is exactly why Peer to Peer gaming doesn't work on the PC, much older games on PC with dedicated servers are still going strong.
The game is actually quite good and has some interesting multiplayer modes etc but finding a match in them is too hard so you end up just playing the same mode over and over again.
Also beware that it is a very big download/install (50gb +)

  • Can this game be played in psuedo single player by creating a server and making a password for it so that no one else can join? Or does it not start until another player joins?

    • The campaign is a multiplayer mode. It's not like co-op or anything, it's just another versus mode with a thin veil of purpose.

+1 for price but wouldn't put this game on my worst enemy. Was good at the start but a few days in you will realise just how shallow the game is.

    • Haha, I was totally going to mention you in the OP. I know you hate this game :D

      • :)

After finally deciding that Origin had cleaned up their act I came out of the cave and bought the premo edition with season pass.

Awesome concept, great game play ……. then came the aim bots, lack of content, connection issues which zero'd a players XP, the crappy story line, inability to host clan games, etc (huge list).

For the (apparent) AAA rating, not to mention the huge cost, I expected far more for my money. Games like this can screw a companies good name, I certainly wont buy again, certainly not unless it's dirt cheap or in a bundle. Steam's the same, will use them but don't trust for a pinch of sh*t, hence I only buy cheap ass bundles.

On the flip side, I trust GoG and have bought almost everything they sell. I trust Red so have pre-ordered 5 copies of Witcher 3 CE.

        • What on earth are you going to do with 5 copies of the Witcher 3?!?! Goodies for Ozbargain yeah? :D

        • @kaneissik: I got a DRM copy on GoG so will probably shelve them with all the other junk I buy from Ozbargain :D

  • I love Titanfall.. I dunno why this game generated so much hate.. the close quarter firefights are awesome.. and it's a very quick game… At the same time, I hate bf3/bf4.. feels very slow in comparison.. that and i die from a sniper from the other side of the map..

    • Game got a lot of hype. Was anticipated by many followers to be GOTY of 2014. Its player base died quick though for such a hyped games. So much so that some modes on PC had to be removed in order to funnel more players into one game mode instead of spreading them out.

    • Always hated those 1-shot systems, feel they were designed for consoles where it's harder to aim.

One of my favourite FPS would still be WolfET, and hopefully that will be DirtyBomb soon.

  • Game showed great promise but like so many studios these days, they relied on players to provide all the content through it being multiplayer only and not providing any content themselves in the form of a single player campaign with a story. No story = no one gets invested in your Jane

They focused more on making it LOUD rather than good. But that is the marketing strategy of Ubisoft, EA and Activision, and by god it works. Unfortunately people are suckered in by the fanfare, play it for a week, and leave it to gather dust (Cough Ps4 and Xbone cough)

Take Destiny for example. If your game only has 7 hours of original content, spent 3 years getting hype, and costs $80, people are generally going to be dissatisfied with the product.

On the inverse end of the scale, I spent $49 on Monster Hunter 4, which I only found out about in late January, and already have 130 hours on it. Quality game is quality <3
