Fujitsu AA Alkaline Batteries 40 for $4.90 +Shipping @ Dick Smith

190

This offer is online only - no C&C. Works out $0.08 cheaper than this deal. Split the shipping cost with mates and you've got a bargain.

Order up to 10 packs of the 4x or up to 11 packs of the 10x. When you factor in delivery charges, the per-unit-price is slightly better for the 10x packs if you buy in quantity. Offer ends midnight.

4x pack $0.49 each
10x pack $1.49 each

Thanks Mr TA. Have 40 on the way for $10.85. Thanks also for your tip on shipping costs for 10 vs 11+.

I did a search on there for similarly good clearance deals on AAA's, but at the moment it is not to be.

Clearly states it is a WAREHOUSE WIPEOUT SALE (Meaning the stock is at the warehouse not at a store)

Stop the whinging about Click & Collect

I got these last time. I have a wall clock which is unable to run on these. Loses 20 minutes a day. Could be the clock, could be the battery.

    • Maybe your clock is travelling too fast therefore time is slower?
      \

      • Nope. Clock runs fine on Duracell. But not on these Fujitsu's. Arguably it should be able to take any battery type, but comes to show that there is a difference.

Not sure why people downvote me - I'm just trying to prevent them from buying something they may not be happy with.

It could be the flux capacitor…

        This is heavy.

        • Now why don't you make like a tree, and get the hell out of here McFly?

        • @Amar89: It's make like a tree and leave, butthead!

      • Thanks, going to check that as soon as I get home. Better yet, going to go back in time so that I can check it before I get to work today. Given that I am typing this message, it looks like your suggestion didn't work, unless this is the wrong parallel timeline.

Matter/anti-matter is no match for a good old Flux Capacitor/Mr. Fusion combo!

Just putting it our there, Choice tested alkaline batteries a few months ago and these were one of the worst performing batteries on the market (down there with supposed German quality Varta batteries from Bunnings). The big surprise packet was Activ Energy batteries from Aldi that out performed nearly every other alkaline battery on the market at a normal price of 62c ea. I'm no great fan of Aldi but I have to give them credit for these batteries and that they have a Planet Aark battery recycling bin each store. Yes the batteries are from China but hopefully Hepatitis free!

    • Choice isn't what it used to be. I wouldn't trust their testing as 'conclusive'.

      • That's true but it's pretty hard to stuff up testing some batteries.
