  • OMG.. Definitely will buy these. thx OP.. you're legend

    • Thanks TA! Credit to Theearth too! :)

    • Ebay page says over 1400 sold lol….prepare to get your order cancelled

      • +1

        Doubt it.

      • For every order they cancel, put in a negative feedback. Let them know the power of consumers.

~2000 -ve feedback they can kiss their ebay store goodbye!!!

  • Thanks tightarse! Always handy for the kid's toys!

  • +1

    It's so cheap!!!

    Thanks OP.

  • Any idea on expiry date?

    • +3

Bought some on the last deal. Expiry Jan 2019

  • +3

    Great deal.

Hate to say it, but I prefer the simplicity of these over Eneloops.

  • +2

Such a good deal… but seriously, I have batteries coming out the wazoo at the moment! lol

  • +4

If you order 2 sets you pay no extra for postage

    ie 80 = 9.96 + 4.95 Postage

    • +3

Unfortunately ordering one set of AAs and one set of AAAs didn't work the same way.

    • I ordered 3 for the same price … ie: flat rate $5 postage. Not sure how many you can go up to!

    • bought this from COTD when they had the $10 code. It was just $8 including shipping. Batteries are definitely getting cheaper.

  • Great deal!
Just bought 2 sets, so 80 for $15 including postage!

Anyone know what these are like? On par with say the everready black batteries?

    • +1

I'd say similar to the black batteries not a good set of duracell - at this price I dont mind leaving the xbox controller on to go into sleep mode by itself :)

  • Got one of each - thanks very much OP !!

  • how are these compare to duraleaks? Also I always wondered is eneloop cheaper than disposables like these when you consider the electricity bills?

  • Thanks mate, bought 2 x AA's. Good for the kids' toys.

  • How are these are they to energiser batteries or Linthium?

  • +9

Fujitsu batteries have the following grades:
    1) Alkaline PremiumG (for toys and remote controls, plus the below)
    2) Alkaline G Plus (for digital camera, handheld games, powered toothbrush plus the below)
    3) Alkaline G (for torch, radio, clock, plus the below)
    4) Heavy Duty (all others)

This offer is for Alkaline G grade. If you are buying 1 set of 40, think of it as 40 batteries for approx $10 (incl delivery) or 25 cents each - only if you are confident that you'll use 40 batteries before power starts to deplete. If you use less than 40 batteries then your per battery cost will be higher.

  • Hi TA. WIN.

Keep the wife happy on the nights I'm suffering from a "head ache"

    • +2

Or you when your wife has a headache…, jokes mate! :)

  • Even with 2 sets of each im getting 10 bucks delivery fee to newcastle

  • +1

Another superb deal from tightarse! I ordered 80 AAA for $14.91 delivered. I didn't order any AA because after Christmas I ordered 40 AA on CatchOfTheDay but they sent me 160 instead!

    • +2

Haha, you too? I also ordered 40 and received 160.

      • I suppose the packer misinterpreted the phrase "4-pack" on the order form.

    • +2

Same here. I ordered 80 and got a box of 320. I've got enough batteries to power a small village!

    • +1

Haha me too… That'll teach their boss man for saying "I sell them shit they don't need for prices they can't resist"… #payback

    • +1

I thought I was the only one! I can see how they may have gotten the shipping order wrong though.

  • But.. But.. I already have the rechargeables :(

  • A good price. Not sure the expiry date but purchased 80 x each. Thanks.

  • Any way to buy a pack of each and combine postage?

  • Logged in to upvote, thanks again TA!

NFI what i'm gonna do with 80x AA Batteries.. oh well :)

  • $4.95 postage for each size?

  • +6

Just a reminder, batteries don't get disposed of in the general waste.
Please take them to Aldi or Battery World where they recycle them for free.

    • +2

Check your local council as well, as they may also have free facilities.

    • +2

I think Officeworks also offers free battery recycling.

  • thanks got 2xaaa

  • how to by pass the delivery fee? i still cant manage to do it. added both AA and AAA into my cart(1 quantity each), still shows 20$ totall fee to WA.

  • +1

Not able to add togather both AA's & AAA's. Shipping cost $9.90.;(

  • +1

Same as Shibu-thomas. Can't combine shipping costs.
Does anyone know how to? Thanks for help

    • same, seems a bit too much for shipping if you cant combine… :(

  • +2

Wow … My girlfriend will be doubly pleased.

  • Thanks OP. Probably too many but since the expiry date seems years away should be ok. bought 2 sets

  • The AA prices are very similar (with postage compared to pickup when you only purchase 40) to what you pay any day of the week at Bunnings for a similar grade of battery.

    • And Masters

    • 30 pack AA for $9.48 @bunnings

      • Sorry, I stand corrected. It was only 30, I thought it was 38 at Bunnings.

We still have the problem that there is no way to compare the quality of the batteries.

        • +1

Choice magazine did a review of various single use AA batteries these Fujitsu G's came dead last.

        • @CyberGenesys:
Only can only find a 2008 review. Is there are more recent one?

        • All good. I bought the 30 pack at Bunnings yesterday morning, thinking it was a good deal.
Should have checked ozbargain first :)
PS. I didnt neg you. :(

        • @mmd:

It sounds like you may have bought the better value batteries, as the ones from DSE don't sound as though they are as good.

  • +3

    Got mine today

  • got mine yesterday. that's 2 days delivery from DSE.

  • Mine arrived today. They were "onboard with driver for delivery" all day yesterday but I'm pleased delivery was not attempted yesterday because everyone was out.

  • AU $59.80 now. Just missed it :P

  • damn i missed out. any chance anyone has buyers remorse for a set of AA's?
I didn't realise all the kids toys needed so many damn batteries. And im not risking losing my eneloops to them =P
