    Yo, Mr White!

    • Breaking Bad fancy dress costume idea right there

  • +2

Does it pass au standards for safety equipment?

    • +2

wouldn't it be ironic if the plastic it is made out of leeched toxic fumes :P

    • +1

      No.

    • Does it pass au standards for safety equipment?

Good question. Needs a lawyer. Better call Saul.

I wish I had one of these when I shared a bathroom with one of my old housemates..

    • +1

Just glad that I am that house mate ;) Long term exposure based immunity ftw

      • did you both share the bathroom at the same time?

        • +1

Well the previous house had the bathroom subdivided into three rooms. Toilet was in a small room, so as soon as the door was opened, so was the lid on Pandora's box

@Carnal: We have the same problem with one of our female colleague who is on the USANA diet. The pultrid, decomposing animal smell and the loud, high-pitched farting got so bad that someone brought it up during a team meeting last week:(

        • @wicket1120 Edit: This is also affecting her love life but she refuses to give up the meal replacement/protein shakes.

Has any protein shake lovers with this problem had any luck with peppermint oil/ capsules or fennel infusions?

I had two issues with the same one housemate. First was having to survive the gas fog after she'd 'relieved herself' (I don't know what was going on with her digestive tract, or what she ate), and second, was trying not to pass out after she'd replaced nearly all fresh air in the bathroom with hairspray fumes and perfume whenever she was getting ready to go out… which was often. No windows and a weak exhaust fan = death trap.

Eh. When it comes to safety gear to keep toxic crap out of my eyes and lungs I think I'd cough up for a name brand, not some shonky site.

      Like the Gucci Gas Mask?

      • +1

that's a couple of shades of grey isnt it

  • Cheaper here on eBay

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Double-Protection-Filter-Respirat…

Taking $6.14 USD equals $7.83 plus exchange rate margin so likely $A8.00 with 28 degrees

    Vs

    $A7.68

    • -1

28 degrees has necked itself though :( Citibank plus is the go to atm

      • Could you please explain why briefly?

        • Whoops forgot the link… I was referring to the fee turmoil from years ago

          Sorry about that guys :P

        • +1

Probably the Cash Withdrawal thing, even with the card in credit.

        • +2

Everyone signed up to 28 degrees because they could withdrawal money overseas for no fee (provided the account was in credit). Then 28 degrees changed the rules, shafted all their members, and ignored all complaints

          @Davo1111:

To be fair to GE it wasn't really an advertised feature of the product, and they let us all have a decent run plus gave plenty of notice so people could switch to Citibank for international ATM withdrawals.

        • @JoelWilliam:

We all signed up for it, which means it was advertised as far as I'm concerned. Word of mouth + PDS are both advertising.

      • +1

The same as the last one but the links posted seem to be slightly different - go to same post.

The first two you post don't, in fairness, include the googles so i didn't post those cheaper ones

Define 'quality.' Item has not been tested against the performance standards of AS/NZS 1716:2003 'Respiratory protective devices.'

    GL HF!

    • +2

Thank you. There are reasons for standards. Its not a bargain if it kills you.

      • +1

I agree its not a bargain, but really its not going to kill you, its not going to give you the best protection. Might shorten your life, depending on what you use it for, but killing you it's a little extreme. LOL

    $6 lungs deserve a $6 Respirator.

  • is dis da google glasses?

    • na, dis da goggle glasses

  • The code should be NSFW1518, not NF1518.
