KFC Xpress Order App (Now Also on Android) -Suggestions/Comments + Locations

This App has been on IOS for some time (about 9 months) but now is on Android. As yet I have not heard of anything for Windows Phone.

Quite a number of offers that are usually on Coupons are now included under the Tasty Rewards Site.
Please note not all stores are included yet, but I assume more will be added every few weeks as the roll-out continues.

Here are some advantages:-

  • Have KFC your way. You can completely customise and build your perfect KFC meal via the app.
  • Exclusive app only offers via the Tasty Rewards menu.
  • Pre-order in your own time making it super convenient for large orders.
  • Pre-pay with credit card so you skip the queue!
  • Save your favourite orders for next time.

The other day, there were about 10 people lined up, & I didn't have to que as I pre-paid. My order was very quick.

I have used this a number of times over the last few weeks, but here are some enhancements I would like to see in future releases:-

  • A link to Allergen advice.
  • The ability to request certain pieces in Combos (within reason ie not 10 chicken thighs)
  • The ability to use a code for shop-a-docket/voucher deals like Dominos online ordering
  • The option for requests like salt or pepper sachets.

I have only had it crash when trying to view a previous order. If you have any other ideas etc, please list them below, as I will pass it on (or they maybe reading this thread.

    "South Shore" is that city/eastern suburbs. Never heard CBD - Eastern Suburbs of Sydney being referred to as 'South Shore' is that something people from the North Shore conjured up? :P

        Haha that's cool! Though South Sydney refers to a very specific area around Redfern, Alexandria, Waterloo :P I'm surprised the app isn't available in more locations, it's been around for a while now (I remember installing it a few weeks ago and being disappointed no stores were available in my area).

          I will put in an inner city/CBD area, as well as Sydney South. I am surprised as well. Some stores I find by accident, when they were not listed before such as Rutherford, nor do they show on my map. Other stores I see later that arn't on the map but listed as closed. ;-)

    as far as I know these are all stores owned by YUM (Head office) (at least the ones in my area)

    Companys often introduce things this way before having them in all the franchised stores, may explain the locations?

      According to the website 160 stores are owned by KFC Australia, which I assume is YUM! The rest are franchised or owned by the community. This probably included the 120+ stores of the CFL group (Qld).

      I also suspect they want it up & running, before they put it in the busier stores. That way they can upgrade the system as required.

    You can add the Derwent Park store(TAS)to your list
    I got my $1 chips using the app there yesterday
    Also Claremont(TAS 7011)is a participating restaurant

    Used the app at Swanston Street today for the $1 chips. Bit weird to order on the phone, only to arrive in-store and quote the number - where they start preparing the meal, not before.

      I have witnessed their preparation & they are probably the freshest of all the major chains.

    I suspect that a lot of the stores that aren't in the app are actually franchises. I know my local store is, and it's not on the app

    Thanks for the great post hbg, some awesome suggestions (some of which are already on the roadmap…so watch this space !), and we're glad you found the App useful. You are right about not all restaurants being on-line straight away, we will be adding more all the time. For example, in the last few weeks we have added Hoxton Park, Welland Plaza, Salisbury, Hillcrest, Hollywood Plaza, Paralowie, Port Lincoln and Prospect. We'll update this post as more start participating, and look we forward to more suggestions !!

    Hoxton Park is in Sydney, Hollywood Plaza is in the Centro Hollywood, Salisbury Downs, SA.

    We also have had Shellharbour (Shellharbour Square, NSW), Glen Waverly (VIC) and Preston (VIC) gone live today!

      Hi, I think you will find that WA/Qld/NT come under a different franchise/ownership/division. They may develop their own app, or participate. I would suggest contacting KFC QLD to find out any future plans etc.
