They had 1.25L Coke varieties for 99c last week. This seems much more expensive for 0.75L extra.
Surely most weeks there would be better deals for coke then this?

Depends on the state you live in. Most days Coke on special in S.A is $3.20 so $2.45 is awesome. I moved in April from Brisbane to Adelaide and I cannot believe how much more expensive Coke is here. Coca-Cola Amatil has a factory here so no idea why its so much more…
A good price for a single bottle at least. The cheapest for 2 litre bottles seems to be $2, in the 5 for $10 sales.
For coke lovers, next week Woolies has coke 30 can packs on sale for 2 for $33. That's 55cents/can. That seems to be has cheap as it gets these days for cans. Still, it is a cheaper habit than smoking!
I just picked up a 2L bottle of coke from Coles here in VIC for A$2.00 and you could actually buy 1 bottle.
This price is because Woolies have 2L for $2.50 this week (ending today).
Unfortunately it was sold out at my store. Apparently franklins is selling it at $2 a bottle.
Still remember the good days when 2L cola for $1.65

Maybe if it was $1 or $1.50 then it's a bargain. But this is just a normal special. A few weeks back (I think) Woolies had it for $1.99. Nobody posted that as a bargain, so why should this be a bargain?
Totally agree! It would inundate the site if we posted all the supermarket specials- saw some tuna with 8c off the other day.

Well while I understand what you're saying I posted this because near where I live no Woolies stores stock the different varieties (ie. they only sell plain coke) and as posted in the description this is 35% off - and a 35% off post is generally a better saving than most deals on here.
