  • Looks like the Sony PlayStation sale is a bit cheaper..

    In the description it says
    Sniper Elite 3 – $20
    which is different to heading.

  • Some alright deals, not too many major savings. Lords of the Fallen is definitely worth it.

  • Will probably grab Sniper Elite and Walking Dead. Not bad.

  • +1

Lackluster "sale". How is Mordor still $60?

    • shrug I just set my Xbox to US and bought it for $30 back in November.

      • Pretty much, I wish everyone did this.

  • Do I need to have XBox Live subscriptions?

  • Gold members get this cheaper price. Silver have to pay a bit more.

The page is here if you want to look at the games + discounts.

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://…

  • Heads-up that some of the ones with bigger % off (eg. Halo Collection) on XBOne will probably be cheaper on overseas Marketplaces (doing the Marketplace-hopping workaround).

Edit: Halo MCC would be about A$31-$32 (US$24) on US store.

    • Last time I checked they've blocked the ability to buy games from overseas store with Australian credit cards. heard they've blocked using US /international gift cards also but haven't been able to confirm. how do you make the purchase that works?

      • Yeah, some cr cards don't work on Xbox purchases. However, once you have an overseas "billing" profile attached, you can use gift cards to add prepaid currency to that billing profile.

I just buy prepaid credit from MS' site (strangely, the cr card Xbox rejects works on MS' site), then buy the game using prepaid credit.

Obviously this only works for XBOne items - the 360 is restricted by profile region.

    Pretty crappy honestly

  • +1

    Fairly poor effort for downloadables.

  • lords of the fallen is the bargain.
un likely to get it under 55 on fleabay or eb.
    rest are meh deals

  • I'm waiting on a Telltales Borderlands or Game of Thrones season pass sale.

IIRC Walking Dead s2 and Wolf both had sales around their second or third episodes.

  • Anyone get a look at 360 sales?

    • I want to know the same thing as you, hoping for the fallout games, though I doubt it

  • Sale is now on.

This link showing titles available on 360, but prices are US. Still ridiculous mark up on titles I want.

i.e. Lego Marvel ($6.59 US vs 32.98 AU) and Injustice ($4.99 US vs $17.48 AU)

  • I can't believe these were leaked "accidentally", especially when considering how hype can sell so many more products.

  • +1

Switch to the Russian store and the prices are much more inviting, for eg:

    Sniper Elite 3 - AU$10
Trials Fusion Deluxe Edition - AU$13
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris - AU$5
Lords of the Fallen - AU$9

They also have a FH2/FM5 bundle for AU$79.

    • how did you get these prices. Still shows 2899 ru which is about AU60 for lords of the fallen

      • Are you signed in? It's showing 434.85p for me.

    • i am logged in but still seeing the price for Lords of fallen as 59.99 …all others are reduced price

      • +2

They have removed LotF now and MS said it wasn't meant to be part of the deal.

  • I am logged in (gold membership) but still seeing the price for Lords of fallen as 59.99 …all others are reduced price
can anyone suggest or help..if I am missing out something here ?
    Thanks

    • Maybe they've sold out, you might have to wait until they order more stock.

    • see above its no longer part of the deal

  • can't seem to find the deal for Halo??

    • +1

It's a weekend deal, check back tomorrow or Saturday.

      • ahh cheers for that!

  • Hmmm Halo: MCC is showing as $60 for me instead of OP's suggested $40? The other prices, including those from the weekend sale are all accurate…. it just looks like Halo isn't.

    • The original leak for those prices was from a MS test page and while most of the games/prices have turned out correct this one wasn't.

$60 is still discounted but nowhere near the discount people expected although it is AU$31 on the Russian store, still not low enough for me to jump back in personally.

      • It's showing up as $US35.99 if you have a US billing profile .

        • Yeah that's the US sale price, I was saying that the $60 is still a large discount on the AU site.

        • @Jonesy77: Which is why I was replying to Link and not you.

        • @SirFlibbled: Well you hit reply on the wrong person because you replied to me :)

  • So how do I buy it from the Russian store?? Is that an easy thing to do or do I need a Russian xbox live account?

    • It's very easy. It's as simple as buying gift cards off the Russian store by changing your region on the xbox.com site, put in a fake Russian address and redeeming the code on your account while still set to Russian and buying the game.

You will need a credit card though and have to use Google translate or something similar to get around the Russian site but overall it only takes 5mins for the whole process.

      • Sounds like too much work. I'll wait till the Aussie site either has a better deal or the brick and mortar shops are flogging MCC for $30, which I imagine won't be to far off.

        • Yeah, $20-30 will be the point I jump into MCC. Too many backlog of games to go through in the meantime. :( #firstworldproblems
